Paranoia or Instincts??

At first, Namjoon was overjoyed to be in the city. He was enjoying sight-seeing with Y/N. He had taken her on stroll through the city, his fingers entwined with hers. They stopped at a park, and enjoyed looking at the modern art statues they were displayed there. He laughed as she danced through the water shooting out of the ground at the Pavillion. He was happy to see her enjoying herself despite how sore she was. For a moment, he was happy to be here with his mate despite everything else. He almost felt normal.

He should have known it was too good to be true. While they were making on a bench near the fountain, Namjoon notice a man who was paying too much attention to them. At first he though it was because they were hybrids, but when he looked around there were loads of hybrids in the park. The man wasn't doing anything particularly suspicious, but something about him had the alpha on high alert.

They had to stock up on supplies and get out of here. The wolf rattled around in his head. Demanding that he get their mate and pack out of here. He gave Y/N over to Yoongi that afternoon, while warning him of his suspicions. Yoongi acknowledged his warning, but said nothing.

The whole time he and Jimin were at the handyman job, he couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched. It was unnerving, he began scanning the area.

"Jimin, something is not right. Don't you feel that?"

"Feel what Namjoon." The younger wolf briefly tensed up mimicking his alpha, but quickly relaxed when he saw no threat. " Damn, you scared me. Relax you're being so paranoid. There's nothing there."

He tried to relax, maybe Jimin was right. Is he being paranoid? Just as he was about to get back to work, he that same man from the park walk passed their work site. He smiled and waved at Namjoon as he walked by. Was this guy following them, or was this simply a coincidence?

On the way, back to hotel after getting supplies he tried to drag Jimin away from the female section in the hybrid store. However, the younger wolf insisted on staying. As anxious as he was he would have stayed and waited, until he saw a familiar figure walk passed the store. Namjoon was now sure, that man was following them. He has seen him too many times for it to be coincidence.

He looked at Jimin and knew he was not done shopping, and he would not take him seriously. He lied to him. Telling him that he had something to care of and that he would be back later. He was determined not to allow the man to get away. He clearly didn't know who he was fucking with. Namjoon followed the man all over town, at some point the man figure out he was being followed. He became spooked desperately trying to loose him. Namjoon didn't want him to do something crazy, if he wanted to get to the bottom of this he need the man to feel safe.

So, he stood as still and as silent as he could possibly be. As soon as the man was satisfied he was alone, he began walking.

He is clearly not very smart, there is no way I would drop my guard that easily.

He followed the man for 30 minutes, and imagine his horror to find he was staying in the hotel across from theirs. While his packmate were right across from them unaware.

Who is this guy? What on Earth does he want with us?

He watched the man enter the building. He was already in the process of trying to figure out how to get into the man's room without being seen, when his emergency phone began to vibrate.

"Hobi, this is not a good time. I'm in the middle of something."

"Namjoon it's a trap. Fuck whatever you are doing, get the others and meet up with us somewhere." He sounded frantic he began explaining everything that went down with Nayla. They agreed on a meet up point, and they hung up.

This was so much bigger than he thought it was. Hybrid Specialty Labs wanted their test subject back. They didn't want what they had been doing getting out to the public yet. It was illegal in every way. They will not have her he didn't care who they had to fight, she would remain free and happy.
