"I was not prepared for how ugly that thing would be up close" Maria commented as she, Ryan, Maria and
"Yeah..." Ryan uttered.
"No kidding" Zoey agreed.
"They are pretty disguised" Kate stated.
"So..."
"I noticed something kind of weird about it..." Ryan mentions, making Zoey and Maria become interested.
"Uh...what?" Maria asks Ryan with furrowed brows, confused.
"The wendigo. It had a scar" Ryan pointed out.
"So?" Zoey questioned, not understanding where this conversation is going.
"We've seen it before" Kate mentioned.
"What are you talking about?" Maria asked, more confused than ever.
"We saw these old pictures of some guys with that same scar, and he was transforming into a wendigo" Ryan explain to Zoey and Maria.
"You're kidding" Maria said, eyes widen in shock.
"Shit!" Zoey cursed.
"It was one of those miners who'd been trapped, back into the 50s...in the cave-in" Kate revealed.
"Which means that thing is 80 years old" Maria replied.
"Spunky for an old timer" Zoey joked with a chuckle
"Not for a wendigo" Kate answers.
"They cleaned the place out...killed a lot of people" Ryan stated.
"They?"
The four stopped walking, "You mean there's more of them?" Maria questions.
"Oh yeah" Ryan replied.
"Exactly how many?" Zoey asked.
"Too many" Kate answered before they continue to walk.
"I think we're close"
"To the lair" Zoey said, making the three look at her in confusion.
"How can you tell?" Maria ask Zoey.
"I don't know...I just...feel really terrible all of the sudden" Zoey confessed as the four stopped in front of water.
"I really don't want to go in there..." Kate said, looking at the eerie water.
"There's no other way through, Kate"
