"The results are out," the doctor announced, facing the entire group gathered in the hospital room, still dressed in their concert clothes, makeup smudged and exhaustion heavy on their shoulders. "Mrs. Park is a suitable donor—there's a 90% match, which is remarkable. But..." he paused, eyes shifting toward Amar, "there's about a 75% chance that your heart won't withstand the procedure. It's weak, and the surgery is long."
The silence that followed was suffocating. Fear gripped every soul in the room.
But Amar's voice cut through it—calm, certain. "I don't care. When's the surgery?"
The doctor blinked. "We can schedule it for tomorrow."
"Then tomorrow it is." She nodded, unwavering.
That night, they crammed into a single hospital room. Some curled up on the floor, others slumped onto sofas or took turns with the single bed. They didn't care. For their sister, they would endure anything.
The next day
Preparations were underway. The sterile scent of antiseptic filled the air as nurses moved around Amar's bed, prepping her for surgery. The boys surrounded her, eyes clouded with worry.
"Amar... are you absolutely sure?" Jin asked quietly.
"I've never been more sure. And thank you," she said, flashing them a warm smile that masked the storm inside her. "For always being here. For loving me."
"Why does this sound like a goodbye?" Yoongi asked, his voice low.
"Because it might be," she replied, smiling through tear-brimmed eyes. "But I don't want to leave without saying it all."
Taehyung broke first, clinging to her tightly. "Amar! Please don't go!"
Jungkook and Jin joined, wrapping her in a tearful hug.
"I'll do my best to come back, Taetae." She stroked his hair gently. "But if I don't, I want you all to stay strong—for both of us."
"Guys... don't make this harder than it already is," Hoseok said, standing in the corner beside Namjoon, both quiet and tense.
Amar looked around, eyes glistening. "Can I ask for one thing?"
They nodded.
"If I don't make it... tell him I'm sorry. And tell him—"
"That you'll love him always and forever," they all said in unison, finishing her sentence.
She smiled with pride. "That's my boys." Then, turning to Taehyung, she handed him a folded letter. "Give him this... just in case."

To Jimin — From Your PrincessAmar's POV
Here I am again... in a place I thought I'd never return to since I was seventeen. I looked over and saw Jimin—peaceful, unaware, lying still beside me. I made sure to wear our engagement ring into the surgery. I told the nurses not to remove it under any circumstance.
I turned to him again.
It's either we both make it out... or just you. In both cases, I'm satisfied.
See you soon, love. And as the anesthesia took hold, I closed my eyes...
Forever? The surgery lasted twelve hours. Twelve agonizing hours. The boys were restless, hearts heavy with anxiety. The hospital halls echoed with pacing footsteps and silent prayers.
