30 years later
"Remind me again—why are we going there?" Ella asked as they loaded the car.
"I told you—we're going to clear out the house because they're selling it," he replied.
"Oh, right. Why are your parents selling it?" she asked curiously.
"After retiring, they wanted to spend their years in peace—just the two of them—especially after me, Joah, and Koah graduated," Noah explained.
Ella raised an eyebrow. "What exactly did they say?"
"They told us, 'After an eventful life raising you three, it took everything we had. Now we want to relax somewhere away from the media and cameras.'"
"So that's why they moved to New Zealand!"
"Exactly."
When they arrived, they split up to gather photos and important keepsakes Amar had asked them to collect.
"Wow, your mom really knew how to cherish memories," Ella said, holding up a photo.
Amar had always written the date and notes on the back, capturing the moments and conversations.
"This one's from 2039... you were eight, right? Right after your school play. You looked so handsome," she smiled at her young boyfriend.
"That's actually Koah!" Noah suddenly exclaimed.
Ella laughed. "Oh, sorry! You've got to forgive me—you're triplets, after all."
"No worries," he rolled his eyes—a habit he clearly inherited from their mother.
"Look! It says here Joah was crying right before this photo was taken."
"Yeah, that was right after Mom and Dad told us we couldn't date until we were twenty. That baby didn't take it well," Noah chuckled.
"Aww!"
"This one's interesting. It says it was taken just after your first kiss, mister. You dated before me?"
"Nope, just a single kiss between me and her. Forget about it," he said, cheeks flushing.
Ella giggled. "Your cheeks are so red—it's cute!"
"That confidence? Got it from Dad," Noah smirked.
"And here's one from after Koah's tournament—he won second place. It's amazing how Mom and Dad, despite their busy lives, never missed a single event."
"No kidding. Mom always told Dad, 'If we aren't there for our boys, they won't know what love really means.' She was right. We grew up in a house where Mom was dancing while Dad cooked, and Saturdays were always for ice cream and family. They gave us the best of both worlds—normal childhood with extraordinary love."
"They sound wonderful."
"They are... Now come on, we have to hurry. They're coming tomorrow morning to clear out the rest, and we still have so much to do."
"Let's get to it."
Amar and Jimin lived happily ever after in New Zealand, while their sons thrived in their own paths: Noah became a pilot, Koah an Olympic swimmer, and Joah a rising star in the art world.
