Show Offs

Don't yah just love it when your parents have company over and they tell you to do things and yell at you just to show that you are not superior to them.

I hate it with a chocolate loving passion.

Let's take a blast to my past.

My mom just got a new 2 story house. It's a nice mint green house with 5 bedrooms.

So since we have it for like 3 weeks now we put furniture and things in it.

Since this is her first house she wants to show it off.

I understand that.

When her friend came over we joked around and stuff you know.

Then she told me to take something upstairs.

I said 'but aren't you going upstairs?'

Then by the moon and stars this woman hit me in my mouth.

I was stunned my mother NEVER EVER hit me before.

It was because of company.

When our company left I asked her why she hit me.

She said because I tried to rise above her authority.

Give me a muffin break you know darn well you hit me because your friend was over here.

I let it go because what else are we teenagers going to do.
