Your POV

I held both of my knees, still panting after doing my daily basketball practice alone after all the team members gone home. After we won the National Tournament for the second time in a row, coach's attitude slightly changed.

These days he often locked himself in his office and gave all the practice matters just to me and Momoi. He just came out from his office only if there's really a need.

I don't know why he did that. Every time I asked him he always said "It's okay" or "Don't worry about it, just keep focusing yourself on taking care of the team" and something like that.

I kept telling myself to obey all his command and wishes but, why did I feel that there's something wrong? Why did I feel uneasy?

~Swoosh~

I shot the ball into the ring for the last time and got ready to leave the gym. I took a small shower then packed all my stuffs. Including the music sheets for the upcoming music subject test. Yeah, I haven't mastered my piano ability for the test. Hahaha, bakaa~~.

"Are? [F/n]-chan? You're still here? I thought you went home already." Momoi called me from the gym door. Yanked me from my thoughts earlier.

"Aah, Momoi-chan. Well, I was practicing for a little while as usual. You too, why are you still here? And where's Aomine-kun? Usually you're always with him after school." I asked while still packing up my stuffs.

"Akashi-kun told me to collect all this data from our last game in the tournament. So, I stayed in school to complete all of this. And Dai-chan went to supermarket with Tetsu-kun." She said long-winded.

"Huh? Now that's unusual..." I raised my brows and looked at her with curiosity.

"Yup! They said that they'll throw a barbecue party to celebrate our victory in the last tournament. You're coming right?!" She asked excitedly.

"Really?! I love barbecue! Of course I'll come!"

"Great! So, we all have to meet up at 05.00 p.m. in front of the school gate. You okay with that?"

"Hm. Of course, but I have to go to the music room before that."

"Huh? What are you gonna do?" She asked. Well, remembering that I don't usually go to the music room after school. No wonder if she's confused.

"You see, there's an upcoming music test in my class 5 days from now. But I haven't mastered my skills yet. So I'm in a bit trouble now." I scratched my temples in embarrassment.

"Geez, that's too bad. But, good luck [F/n]-chan! I know you can do it." She clung her arm on my neck and patted my shoulder to encourage me.

"Thanks." I said.

"Well, I'll be going now. Akashi-kun must be waiting for me. Take care, [F/n]-chan!" She gave me a big smile and make her way out from the gym.

I walked my way to the music room with only accompanied by the dim lights of the school corridor. Collection of music sheets were perched on my arms and I could feel every one of them started to slipped away.

'Darn it. Why should I bother myself just to pass this crappy music test? I'm not interested in this subject anyway.' I thought with annoyance.

The music room is in the corner of the school corridor. So it took awhile for me to get there from the gym. As I arrived, the door was slightly opened. And I could see a glimmer of light penetrated from the small space of the opened door.
