Your POV
Everything was silent.
All I could hear was just their conversation in the other side of the room. I froze on my feet. Not wanting to make any sounds or even move a muscle. But the farther I was eavesdropping them, the more I felt uneasy.
Every word, every warning made me even more regret for hearing all of it.
Ah, why do I have to hear all of this?
I hate it!
I hate it!
But no matter how heavy I cursed myself, time can't be postponed that easily. What happened then happens. Nobody can change it.
I flinched from my thoughts when I felt the door knob turned slowly.
Oh no.
What should I do!? What should I do!? I can't let Akashi-kun see me after I eavesdropped him all along. C'mon [F/n], think! Think!
Then without hesitation, I tiptoed myself quickly to the corner of the school corridor. Luckily I managed to hide myself completely before Akashi-kun could see me. I sat and clutched my knees. Hoping that he'll never notice me.
I froze in that position for a moment there. Although it felt like hours for me. Not long after that I heard the sound of the door closed. He must be out from the office right now. I better check it out.
Not even bother to standing on my feet again, I turned my head then peeked out from the corner.
"What are you doing, [L/n]?" A stern voice suddenly called. And I'm sure that my body limp instantly and I couldn't say a word after hearing that.
All I could see was a pair of legs in front of my eyes. And I slowly looked up to the figure that stands in front of me. A crimson hair boy with ruby eyes were staring at me with an examine yet suspicious face.
"A-Akashi-kun! W-Wait, I-It's not what it looks like!" I quickly stood up from my seat and leaned against the wall. Still recovering from the shock he gave me.
He didn't say a word. He was just, standing there like a statue. A long silence enveloped both of us. All I could feel was just a chilling evening breeze that sends shiver down my spines.
I couldn't stand it to keep staring at his menacing glare. Plus, the atmosphere here didn't help me at all. This awkwardness makes me want to break the ice.
"A-Anoo, I was just passing by and I accidently-" My words were cut off when Akashi suddenly put his index finger between my lips that makes me let out a little gasp.
"Shh.. I would like to hear your explanation further. But can we talk somewhere else? I don't want coach to know any of this." His eyes were staring straight to mine.
I could see his gaze was full of seriousness. But at the same time... A sense of pleading as well. I nodded at his reaction and started to control myself. He slowly pulled back his hand and beckoned me to follow him.
'What is he hiding?'
--
Akashi took me for a walk around the school. But seriously though, I had no idea where he's gonna take me. We didn't talk to each other along the way, it was just pure silence.
I followed him from behind as if I'm a loyal dog with his master. Honestly, I felt a bit exasperated with this kind of thing. I mean, who is he anyway? Always commanding people like that. Y'know what? I don't care. I just wanna know what exactly happened back there.
