Midorima's POV

"HAAAAH I CAN'T BELIEVE MIDORIMA-CCHI WATCHED THAT KIND OF HORRIBLE GAME-SSU! I'M SO EMBARRASS!!" Kise suddenly wailed like a kid and crouch down in front of me while holding his head, with fake tears ran through his cheeks. I sighed irritably at him as I pushed up my glasses and leaned against the wall.

"Mattaku, you haven't change at all, nanodayo. You're the one who asked me to come over. Don't blame me for that."

"Heeh, but I really think Midorima-cchi didn't wanna come in the first place-ssu. You should text me before you come here y'know..." The blonde pouted childishly as he slowly stood up and covered his head with a towel.

"That's not necessary, nanodayo. More importantly, I can't believe you can actually lost from a team like Seirin. You didn't give your best against them or what?" I said.

"Ettou... Can we talk about that topic later? I really don't wanna talk about it right now-ssu. Read the situation, Midorima-cchiiii!" Kise replied bluntly. "Come to think of it..." He added. "This is the first time we met each other since Teiko, right? Hehe, long time no see~"

".... Yeah, it's been a while, nanodayo." I finally said.

There's a short silence enveloped the both of us before we caught the Seirin team showed up from the distance after they're done with their game practice against Kaijou. My eyes instantly focused at the light blue haired boy who's in the middle of the group with a bandaged covered his head. The person who I didn't expect to see in a quite long time.

"You sure you don't wanna greet, Kuroko-cchi right now-ssu? Y'know it's a rare chance to meet him here anyway." Kise said as he made his way beside me and stared at the same direction.

I didn't reply at his question and kept locking my gaze towards them, examining from the distance. Even though the blonde called me repeatedly, I didn't bother to response. There's something I need to make sure.

Kise's POV

"Midorima-cchi! Oi, Midorima-cchi!! Hidooi!! Don't ignore me, at least please give me some response-ssu.." I pouted at the green haired boy beside me who still staring at the Seirin team with a serious look on his face. Sometimes I really couldn't understand what's this guy thinking about. But, considering his reaction towards Seirin, maybe I know what's going on.

"Sorry, Midorima-cchi. But I think the person that you're looking for isn't here." I finally said after I gained my courage to speak and patted his shoulder lightly.

"What do you mean by 'that person', nanodayo?" He suddenly paused from what he's doing and glanced at me with a frown.

"[F/n]-cchi... You came all the way here just to look for her aren't you?" I assumed as I formed a weak smile towards him. My sudden question caused a long yet awkward silence enveloped us once again which made me kinda regret for what I did. The person in front of me kept frozen on his position as he gave me an intimidating gaze.

"What are you talking about, nanodayo?" Midorima-cchi finally said to break the ice. He clicked his tongue in annoyance and turned away, his back facing me. "Stop saying none sense, Kise. There's no reason for me to keep looking for a person who's not here anymore. I came here just because you asked me to. But it doesn't mean that I care, nanodayo." He added with a harsh and cold voice tone.

"Can't you just be honest with yourself, Midorima-cchi? I know you were worried about her more than any of us here. But why don't yo--"

"Kise, this conversation is over. Sorry but I don't have time for this. I'm leaving, nanodayo." He said as he took his leave without thinking twice. Leaving me dumbfounded at his sudden action as I watched him slowly disappear from my sight.
