Chapter Three

Recently in the Black's Ace's
Reece has learned exactly what boy is and now has to decide if he wants to stay along side a kaiju human hybrid or go solo once again only difference this time is he doesn't want to leave mei not now she is back to her old self
Now
Reece sat outside the man's hut trying to decide if he should stay or go
Reece: damn it why can't this be easy i could literally walk to ace and leave right now but i don't want to ugh what would dad do?
Reece looked up into the night sky and watched as shooting star shot past
Reece: damn it im not loosing her again if boy is a kaiju so be it
Reece got up and walked back into the hut which brought everyone attention to him
Reece: so what we got
Man: i was just saying that the tick was a hybrid
Reece: so it only goes after human- kaiju hybrids?
Man: oh erm yes thats correct but they only come from the divide and that territory belongs to the sisters ugh, hideous hell maidens, they sneak in here and rustle my babies i hate 'em
Taylor: they rustle kaiju?
Man: with other kaiju, they have some unholy mental bond not sure who's slave to who so i catch their vicious little blighters and use them to feed my kaiju ha ha........ my valley is a save haven, unlike anywhere else in the black you show these marvellous creatures love, provide for 'em, they come, and they stay and they love back so when i fail to protect them...
Hayley: im sorry about your family but maybe you can help mine please... can you heal boy?
Man: ah. Tick bites, yes, you know, i lost a few of my lovelies to those until i finally got the antivenom right we'll try some on the child
Reece: you think it'll help it won't kill him will it?
Man: oh it'll definitely help or definitely hurt, but i can guarantee it'll do something
Mei: like what? Maybe kill him?
Man: he's dying anyway
Taylor: your call sis
Hayley: do it
Man: should just take a few drops be right back
The man ran off to where he kept his stuff and was talking to himself while mei turned and looked at something on the desk next to her causing taylor and reece to glance over
Mei: tell me he's not batshit crazy
Taylor: oh, he is
Reece: yep big time
Taylor grabbed watch looked to be a ball of some kind off the desk
Taylor: but the real question, has he done it?Coexisted with kaiju if so, it could change everything
Taylor then tossed the 'ball' to mei who caught it
Mei: maybe the best thing for everyone is if the antivenom doesn't work
The three looked down at hayley and boy
Taylor: kind of a hard thing to wish for
Suddenly the man return holding a vial
Man: found it!...... oh yeah, them beauties started showing up on kaiju within a year of the fall
Mei: what is it?
Man: testicle
Mei looked at the now known testicle in her hands before quickly passing it to taylor in disgust while reece doubled over laughing at her reaction
Mei: ugh!!!
Reece: HAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Mei turned to glared at reece but he couldn't see due to the tears in her eyes
Man: ahh evolution
Reece: HAHAHA!!! evolution indeed man it was so worth coming here i can die happy knowning mei touch kaiju balls
Mei: ugh!! I dont want to think about it ugh!
Reece: hahaha
Mei: quit laughing at me reece!
Reece: but your face i dont think ive ever seen you look so scared in my life and it was all because of a kaiju testicle hmm i wonder if you'd react the same with a human test...hmpf...... ok too far got it
Mei: i hate you
Reece: awww come on mei you know i love you right?
Mei: i know i know i love you too
Reece: haha
Man: we'll do this outside in case he decides to explore his kaiju side again
Reece: probably best to get mei away from that testicle
Mei: oh shut up you idiot
Man: (chuckles) come on
The roars of the kaiju could be heard through the night as taylor set boy down
Man: hear them out there? My wonderful family i welcome their call every night that's when i commune with them, the energy it creates is so postive, peaceful
Reece lowered his head down onto mei's left shoulder before speaking low in her ear
Reece: i think your right with batshit crazy
Mei: you think oh thank you for staying by the way i know learning about what the kid is wasnt easy
Reece: nope but i have more to loose now if i walked away besides what type of loving boyfriend would i be if i walked away into the night huh?
Mei: not a very loving one but you stayed thats all that matters to me
Reece: i know your the reason i stayed
Mei didnt know if it was because of the chill of night air or the warmth reece was giving off but she leaned back against his chest while he placed his arm over her shoulders so they rested infront of her
Man: woo- hoo
The four watched as the man started waving a torch in the air while shouting
Reece: yep batshit crazy
Mei: i agree
Man: huh, a little extra feisty this evening, it seems, probably seeing those jeagers got them all emotional
Reece: kaiju emotional how do you think i feel that bastard acidquill scratched ace's paint job
Taylor and hayley turned to look at reece while mei glanced up at him
Reece: did i say that out loud
Mei: yes babe yes you did
Reece: shit! Woah hold on now where you going?
The man walked over to another connecting rock formation
Man: energy's is all over the place. I can't work under these conditions, some nice raw ripper steaks should bring them back into balance
Reece: ohhhhh steak damn it man stop mentioning food even if it is kaiju
Meanwhile in the pit that housed the kaiju rippers three of the sister's had entered and had slay the ripper within
Man: no, no, no, no, oh not good! Not good! Really not good! The rippers, they're
Taylor: what happened?
Reece: i have a feeling shit is about to hit the fan here
Man: sisters!
Mei: what, they're here? The Sisters are here?
Man: something you ought to know by now, mei, the Sisters are everywhere but look, it doesn't matter, my kaiju don't need food to calm down( panting) like i told you, show 'em love, all right? They love in return, its.... Its a truth, ancient, spiritual
Hayley: he's getting worst please give him the antivenom
Meanwhile reece had removed his arms from around mei and was stood tense behind her and she could feel it against her back
Mei: your tense
Reece: this is going to get ugly believe me mei
Mei: i believe you taylor get ready to possibly grab boy and run becaus one thing we 'CAN' count on is reece's instincts
Taylor nodded before walking up to his sisters side
Taylor: yeah, time for us to get going
The sounds of thumping foot falls got increasingly louder as 'lucy' came stomping up
Reece: get ready
Man: oh yes, your babies!! I.... I didn't forget, look, yum-yums are right here!( chuckled)
Reece: he is going be eaten in the next minute or so
Man: i know, i spoil my grandkids, beautiful, ain't she, her species is what smashed the australian wall in the first attack and now look at her
Reece: oh yeah but remember striker eureka swiftly ended that sum bitch
Man: aww, eat up, little ones
'Lucy' roared at the man knocking him off his feet
Man: now, come one, lucy, we've talked about your temper, there, see, you'll get your dinner tomorrow once i round some up
Mei: he really thinks he's tamed them
Reece: batshit crazy yep its official babe you were right
All the kaiju within the valley began roaring
Taylor: they don't sound happy out there
Man: not to worry, they'll calm down lucy sweetness, can you go quiet your brothers and sisters? Please?
Lucy began growling deeply
Reece: he is dead in the next ten seconds
And as if summoned to do so 'lucy' roared and ate the man in front of her
Reece: I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO!!!
'Once Lucy' finished eating the man she slammed her bladed head into the rock formation knocking taylor and haylay off their feet luckly for mei reece had held onto her keeping on her feet while also sheilding from the dust and debris
Once taylor regained her feet he ran into the dust, grabbed boy then ran back towards them
Taylor: RUN!
The four turned and began running back to their jeagers
Reece: IM A GENIUS I SAID HE WAS GONNA DIE IM A DAMN GENIUS OR SOMETHING
mei: crazy fool! It wasn't love, all they cared about was his food
Hayley: now he's gone and so is the antivenom, that was boy's only chance
As the four kept running 'lucy' continue her assault on the rock formation which caused mei to loose her balance and fall over the rock formations edge luckly she managed to grabbed ahold of the edge but was slipping fast and just as her grip failed and she began falling she felt a hand around her wrist
Reece: come on now babe now is not the time to be falling for me again
Reece started to pull mei up as taylor and hayley ran over
Reece: keep running! I've got her
As reece started to lift mei up her eyes focus on the big looming shadow of 'lucy' behind him readying to slam her bladed head down again and just as reece pulled mei back up and onto her feet 'lucy' slammed her head against the rock formation bridge causing it to start crumbling
Reece: go go go
Reece gently pushed mei forward to start running after her near fall and they narrowly made to the other side to see atlas's conpod hatch close
Reece: MEI INTO ACE!!!
Mei nodded as she quickly jumped down into the conpod of ace with reece close behind and they both stood into the foot restraints and were covered by the pilot gear
Ace: kaiju transpasser detected
Reece: yeah yeah ace e-drift
Ace: affirmative
Reece and mei closed their eyes and felt their memories blend once again before they reopened their eyes
Reece: its finally nice to have my copilot back
Mei: its nice to be back now lets focus
Reece and mei piloted ace forward and in front of the incoming kaiju but they just side stepped and the kaiju fell onto it front
Reece: atlas lets roll before we're swarmed
Hayley: where's mei? Is she safe?
Mei: you really think he'd leave me behind he'd die before that happened
Taylor: then lets get a move on
Reece and mei piloted ace into a run first with atlas close behind but there sprint was short lived as reece heard a thump behind them
Ace: the drift connection with atlas is dropping
Reece: hayley is failing
Taylor: hayley now's not the time, focus!
Reece: hayley disengage im sending mei over
Mei: ugh i was looking forward to riding in here
Reece: you'll get your chance mei
Ace powered down as mei disconnected and began to climb out of the conpod
Reece: i placed ace's right arm on atlas shoulder before we disconnected so it a clear run across and please be careful
Mei: i will as long as you do the same
Reece nodded and mei disappeared out the conpod
Reece: (sigh) ace ghost pilot protocal ranger sean parker
Ace: affirmative activating ghost pilot protocal
Reece: here we go again dad
While reece was ghost drifting once again mei had reached atlas's conpod to find hayley by boy's side and taylor waiting
Taylor: sorry mei she isnt drift ready yet
Mei: its fine lets get out of here
Taylor: loa e-drift
Once both jeagers were standing again they continued their run
Ace: multiple kaiju approaching dead ahead
Loa: multiple kaiju approaching from behind
Reece: atlas there is a small notch in the cliffs on the left hand side dead ahead use your sabar chain to reach it
Taylor: copy that
Firing the sabar chain at the far rock wall taylor and mei used the reel in strength to pull atlas forward and bounce off the rock wall and into the smaller break
Taylor: we made it
Mei: wait 'we' made but what about nooo
Taylor and mei turned atlas around to see the sides of multiple kaiju pass by
Mei: REECE!!!
Reece: taylor do not bring her back here just go i'll be fine
Mei: there is too many of them even for you
Reece: mei if this is where it ends i can die knowing you were safe now go
Mei: im not loosing you!! not again!
Reece: taylor!!
Taylor: mei come on he'll make it he always does
Reece: i promise mei i'll be right behind ya's in a second
Mei: you better be
Taylor and mei steered atlas away from the kaiju and the surrounded jeager of the ace of spades but left the comm channel open just so they have the peace of mind in knowning reece is still alive of course reece was unaware of this
Reece: alright ace this is it i suppose mei is gone and is safe im sure taylor and hayley will help boy but this is our end
Ace: ...... you and your father once said that the fight doesnt end until either the kaiju is dead or the jeager is destroyed well neither has happened
Reece: you know you sound so human sometimes
Ace: the benafit of a emotion chip only myself and atlas destroyer has one
Reece: wait the kaiju arent attacking why
Ace: it would appear that they are struggling to see us in the darkness
Reece: hmm oh cut all exterior lights and give me the night vision visor
Ace: affirmative
Once the exterior lights of ace were off the jeager was almost invinsible with the darkness of the canyon walls
Reece: ok we just need to walk around those two kaiju then we can sprint our way to the notch
Ace: affirmative marking best line to take
Reece: why thank you
Following the dotted line on the visor reece piloted ace through the surrounding kaiju without trouble and managed to reach the notch without a fight
Reece: we made time to catch atlas and before i forget remove night vision visor and turn on all exterior lights besides floods
Ace: affirmative
Reece: now that i can see properly lets catch up to atlas
Reece ran through the cayon and found atlas standing still at some jeager remains with the flood lights shining on the rusted metal of the jeagers
Taylor: what is this place?
Reece: the territory of the Sisters AKA welcome to hell
Mei: thank god you safe
Reece: yeah yeah no time for chit chat we have to move quickly before the Sister's find us here
The four while knowning they had to go remained planted looking at the jeager remains
Reece: come on let move it
The two jeagers finally began moving forward again but things were about to go south and quick
