Chapter Eight

Quick A/N: so i noticed that fellow readers wanted this story to continue so here we are

Previous in the black's ace:
Reece realised that he did have a family within the black so decided to reunite the family as a whole by rescuing boy from the kaiju sisters and for that he needed put all his effort into planning and firing on his plan
Now
Reece look at the main entrance where two kaiju sister was placing skulls and her kaiju ripper stood gaurd
Reece: hmm miniumum security on this place i see
The sound of a gun cocking brought his attention to mei who was shaking and had her eyes closed and it didnt slip taylor's eyes either
Taylor: what is going on with you?
Mei: nothing im fine
Taylor held her gaze before looking back towards reece who having seen taylor dealing with mei shaking had focus back on the entrance
Taylor: okay, as twisted as we thought those ladies were, they're worst
Reece: yeah i agree with you
Taylor: they're paving the ground with human skulls
Hayley: why would they do that?
Brina: the path tread upom daily by the sisters represents the fall of humanity
Reece: pah fall of humanity my ass
Brina: and the dominace of our....... Their cause
Mei: this is a mistake, we shouldn't be here. We shouldn't
Reece and taylor both turn to see mei shuddering while holding her head
Taylor: mei, you take out kaiju on the weekly basis, and you're letting some momnster nuns scare you?
Mei: ive seen their raids, what they do to men, the women, people i knew are in that path
Reece remined silent as he took in this infomation while also signaling to hayley to check on her mother who was panting pretty hard
Hayley: mom?
Brina: just... keeping that door closed, we'd better take care of this fast
Hayley: we will
Taylor: look that sister is heading back in so how do we get past that ripper
Reece: we don't
Hayley: what then how do we rescue boy
Reece: let me finish hayley we dont slip by that ripper but your mother does
Taylor: no way not happening
Brina: reece is right taylor its knows me, so i can lure it back inside and lock it up
Taylor: we'll follow you
Reece: no we stay put
Brina: excatly the high priestess will sense your presence
Reece: i dont smell that bad right?
Mei sent a glare at reece who chuckled nervously
Reece:(nervous chuckle) hehe sorry just trying to lighten the mood
Brina: this wont take me long
The four watch anxiously as brina approached the ripper while reece had one of his revolvers cocked and ready to fire if needed but he smiled slightly when he heard brina tell it to follow her and it obeyed her command
Taylor: come on we gotta follow
Reece quickly shoved taylor against the rock they were hiding behind which shocked taylor and hayley and caught mei's attention
Reece: listen taylor i get it its your mom in their but trust her she is our best noo out only hope of getting boy out of this place alive and with his memories intact so wait for her signal got it
Taylor nodded stiffly so reece let him go but he was now getting nervous
Reece: ok i know i said trust her but damn it where is she?
Hayley: maybe she's im trouble
Taylor: we'd better get in there
Taylor ran towards the entrance with hayley close behind
Reece: damn it come on mei....mei?
Reece turned to see her still shuddering
Reece: fuck it stay here
Reece left mei and ran after the siblings but after he left she went after the other sister that was about to place down so more skulls before she was knocked out by the butt of mei's rifle meanwhile with brina she had continue further into the cave and joined the circle of sister that stood around boy as the high priestess continued her chanting but eventually brina could no longer hold the door closed on the high priestess
High priestess: welcome back, sister brina
Brina: my priestess, hostiles are attempting to enter the temple
High priestess: yes, i see, i see it all
Using a ripper hound the high priestess saw one of her sister knock out at the entrance
High priestess: you have invited disorder into our fanily, sister brina, it is you who must end it
The high priestess extends her hand out and within it her palm sat a short dagger
Brina: at once, high priestess
While this exchange of words were happening mei disguied as one of this sisters sat among those left in the circle and knew she had to stop brina from doing anythint drastic.

With reece and the siblings:
Reece currently held the rear as hayley and taylor check every room for boy or their mother until taylor signal hayley to go check down a short hallway then looked at reece who nodded and followed after his sister while taylor ran ahead and within the room held a pit full of kaiju fishes
Reece: ugly bastards
Taylor: hayley?
Hayley: hmm
Both reece and hayley turned to see taylor being held at knife point by a sister so reece quickly pushed hayley behind him and raised his revolvers up
???: get in the water
Taylor: we lost her, hayley(groans)
Reece stepped forward itching to fire his revolver as brina now under the high priestess control stabbed the dagger into taylor side
Reece: come in brina it does have to end this way
Hayley: mom, fight back, you are stronger than the high priestess knows
Brina removed her sister mask and stared blankly at hayley and reece
Brina: in the water
Reece wished mei would come right now but he left her outside but he snapped his eyes to the left as the shaking barrel of mei pistol was raised by hayley as she whimpered lightly
Reece: lets hope it doesnt come down to this hayley

Meanwhile back with the high priestess and the circle of sister they were too busy chanting and preying that they didnt see mei grab boy as the high priestess looked back down at her table to see boy gone
High priestess: sister brina has failed in stopping the hostiles Find the messiah! Kill his abductor

Back with reece, the sibling and the kaiju brina she was getting impatiance as she dug the dagger deeper into taylors side causing him to groan out in pain
Hayley: mom, please!
Reece: this is getting us know where hayley its time
Reece raised his revolvers once again to aim at brina's head but luck was on their side as brina came back to her orginal self as she fearfully dropped the dagger and let go of taylor as she started to whimper
Taylor: mom, im alright
Hayley: i knew we hadn't lost you
Reece: that makes one of us
Mei: i got him!!
The three looked up to see mei panting while holding boy in her arms
Mei: time to get out of here!
Reece: YOU HEARD THE LADY, TAYLOR GRAB YOUR MOTHER WE.....ARE.......LEAVING
taylor nodded, grabbed his mothers arm to get her moving and chased after his sister and reece who had ran ahead but as they were escaping brina stopped to throw the dagger at a sister killing her before a kaiju ripper appeared
Brina: get back to Atlas and ace, i'll stop the rippers
Taylor: what? No!
Hayley: you're coming with us!
Brina: go! I'll be right behind you!
Taylor tossed one of mei's pistols to brina
Taylor: two minutes, and im coming back for you
Hayley: no, we can't let her do this
Reece: MOVE YOUR ASSES NOW!
Taylor grabbed hayley arm and began dragging her out while brina took down the ripper with a couple bullets to its head and just as she was about to follow after her children a second ripper pounce her and bit her around her waist before throwing her over its back and continued to throw her around before smacking her away with its tail causing brina to land next to the sister she killed so she weakly grabbed the dagger and raised it up in front of her
Brina: make your move
The ripper roared and charged at brina but she managed to dodge and stab the dagger into his head eventuallt killing it then she weakly made her way out of the cave but she fell to one knee just at the mouth of the entrance which caught the siblings attention
Taylor: mom!
Hayley: she's hurt
The two ran back to help brina back to her feet while reece stood just a short way ahead to make sure nothing else was coming
Brina: im fine, just help me up
Reece: i have a better idea
Reece jogged over and swiftly but gently brought brina into his arms
Reece: taylor watch the rear
Taylor nodded as they ran back toward their jeagers leaving a very unhappy high priestess behind but once back to the jeagers reece gently brought brina into atlas conpod and lowered her down but she groaned in pain
Taylor: easy, easy, there you go
Hayley looked behind her to see mei placing boy down
Hayley: mom, did we get him in time?
Brina: i dont know
Hayley: its okay, you're okay, just rest
Once brina started to rest hayley left her side to go over to boy where mei stood and backed up a step straight into reece's chest
Mei: sorry
Reece: its fine you ok
Mei nodded before leaning her head back against reece chest
Taylor grabbed everyone attention when he spoke to loa
Taylor: loa, any kaiju coming at us?
Loa: negative
Reece: nothing? Why isnt she sending everythiny she's got at us?
Brina: she will and that will include this child, she believes he has been turned and our true retribution will come upon his awakening
Everyone remianed silent for a couple moments until reece stepped forward towards atlas conpod hatch
Reece: taylor, hayley lock, load and suit up we need to be ready mei your with me
Mei: always
Taylor: wait wait ready for what, the high priestess?
Reece cast a look over his shoulder which told them everything they needed to know but he still told them the truth
Reece: our darkest hour
