THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A FRESH START FOR EVERYONE. Sophomore year was supposed to be the year that changed everything. Megan hoped it would be the perfect place for Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai to settle their differences, and a chance for Megan to make up to Sam for all her sister did, only that couldn't have been any more false.

Tory refused to go to school that day, Megan wasn't sure why, but wasn't in the mood to push her, so she let her stay. Megan arrived at West Valley High alone, in her car and without her best friend. Tory had always been Megan's one friend in school, because, to be honest, she didn't have any. Thankfully, that was now false, because Megan had Cobra Kai. And, boy, were they happy to see her.

Miguel practically ran up to her when he saw her, but instead of greeting her, he bombarded her with questions about Tory. "Hey, Megan, do you know where Tory is? Or why she didn't come to school?" he asked, "I've been trying to get a hold of her, but she's not answering, and-"

"Okay, lover boy, calm down." Megan told him with a chuckle, "She's just skipping. It's nothing new."

"Okay," he started, "Well why did she disappear after the party?"

Megan face crinkled in confusion, "She didn't." she informed, "She was with me. We ran after the cops showed up and pretty much passed out when we got home."

Miguel let out a relieved sigh, happy she was safe, even if she was ignoring him. "Thank god."

Megan chuckled, "Okay, well, come on. We have a very long day ahead of us."

Miguel chuckled as well, "You got that right."

Moon's party was the last hooray of the summer. Moon believed you had to go out on a bang, all the time, so she did. She threw the biggest party of the summer at her house, which ended up causing more problems than they solved,  but nonetheless, it was still fun. The aftermath, not so much.

For Megan, it was avoiding the person she was dreading seeing... Hawk. Yes, they had ended up going out one time, which they both hoped would blossom into something, but after Megan's intimate moment with Robby, Megan hated that date more than anything. The girl felt like she were leading Hawk on, going on dates with him then sharing all-too intimate moments, especially for people who are 'just friends,' with Robby.

"Hey, Megan!" Hawk called out from across the hall, causing Megan to let out a sigh as she put on a fake smile and waved at him.

"Hey." she told him softly.

"Where were you last night?" he asked, "You kind of disappeared after Miyagi-Do showed up."

Megan tried to think of  the best excuse, one that was better than 'I went to go almost kiss your enemy.' "I, uh, was hanging out with Tory and Miguel."
