EVEN AT A YOUNG AGE, MEGAN IMAGINED JUST HOW HER FIRST PROM WOULD GO. She would look like a princess, and she would have her prince. Megan had all but one of those things. She had Robby, her Prince Charming, but was still missing the princess part. Since Robby had decided to wait until the last minute to ask her, Megan feared she wouldn't have enough time to prepare, and most of all, she feared she wouldn't be able to afford a dress.

So, that day, after practice, Megan went dress hunting. Megan wanted to find something that took Robby's breath away. She truly wanted him to feel speechless when he saw her. Much to her luck, she found something that was reasonably affordable and hugged her curves in all the right ways.

It took the girl almost five hours to get ready that day. From the minute she returned home with her dress, Megan started getting ready. She enlisted in Tory to help her do her hair, then when she was done, Tory persuaded Megan to help her with hers. Tory didn't have a date, and truly didn't want to go, but Megan convinced her by saying it wouldn't be the same without her. Tory tried to oppose, but Megan wouldn't let her. So, Tory agreed, under the condition that she wouldn't worry about her, that she would let it be hers and Robby's night.

When Robby knocked not the girls door, Megan practically jumped up, extremely eager to see Robby. Robby felt exactly the same, only he was more eager to see just how perfect she looked. When Megan opened the door, Robby was completely and utterly frozen. In his eyes, she looked like an absolute goddess. The way her hair fell beautifully, or the way her makeup looked completely and utterly perfect to the way her dress hugged her body. She looked absolutely perfect.

"Wow..." Robby trailed off, completely star-struck as Megan felt her cheeks heat up. "You look... perfect."

Megan smiled brightly. "Thank you."

"I, uh..." Robby told her as he held up her corsage. "Got you this."

Megan chuckled before remembering his boutonnière, which had been in the fridge to stay fresh. "Oh, shit. Hold on."

Robby chuckled as the girl ran into her house, grabbing the boutonnière, before returning. "Here." Megan told the boy as she took it out of the box and pinned it onto his tux, which had been red, to match her dress.

Robby watched, completely and utterly in love as she did, before eventually meeting her bright blue eyes and feeling his heart rate pick up. Robby shook his head, snapping out of his thoughts as he took her corsage out of the box and placing it on her wrist, that she had outstretched.

Megan smiled as the boy placed it on her wrist. The two simply could not take their eyes off each other. They were so completely and utterly in love with each other, that their hearts hurt.
