OVER THE COURSE OF THE NEXT FEW DAYS, MEGAN HAD GROWN TO FEAR THE WORLD AROUND HER. After seeing the way Eli had switched sides on the girl and betrayed her trust, she feared him. After seeing the way Tory sided with the boy, Megan feared her. Megan has simply feared the world. She didn't want to leave her home because of that fear. She didn't want to show her face, in fear that she would be the next victim to the world's sick games. It actually seemed to be reoccurring theme, because after Megan spent a few days away from school, the world seemed to tear everyone apart.
Miguel had returned to school while Megan took time off, and he had a very abrupt wake up call. He had missed out on a lot while he healed from his accident, including the part of Cobra Kai being the ultimate enemy. And the day Megan returned back to school, she had been avoided by almost everyone.
Megan walked into the school with Miguel, rather than Eli, because she had feared him, and Miguel couldn't bare to even speak to him. He had a 'Cobra Kai for Life' mentality, and currently, everyone hated Cobra Kai.
"The world really, truly, is falling apart, isn't it?" Megan asked as she watched from beside Miguel as he shared an uneasy look with Eli.
"It's just Cobra Kai." Miguel told her. "They're tearing the world apart."
Megan chuckled as she turned around, facing the boy as she walked backwards. "At least you still have me, right?" Miguel chuckled at the girl before he cut himself off, witnessing her run into someone. "Oh, my God. I'm so sorry, I wasn't-" Megan cut herself off when she turned around, gazing at the mysterious person and realizing it was Sam.
"Uh..." Sam trailed off as she gazed at the girl, "It's fine. I wasn't looking either." Megan offered the girl a small smile as she backed up to stand next to Miguel again. Sam gazed between the two for a moment, "Congrats on being back on your feet!"
Miguel gazed down at his feet as he sent the girl a smile before gazing at Megan, sending her the same smile. "Thanks."
Megan gazed in between the two teenagers feeling awkward. The two really did have an odd relationship especially after everything that went down. The Nichols girl cleared her throat as she gazed in-between the two teenagers, causing Sam to avert her eyes. "Uh, anyway, I'll let you get back to your friends."
Miguel and Megan turned over their shoulder toward the artificially red haired boy and a few other boys. That caused Megan to frown as she and Miguel exchanged the same look. "They're not our friends anymore." Miguel told her before chiming in.
"Not after what they've done to you and Demitri." Megan told the girl, more specifically referring to Hawk.
"Oh..." Sam trailed off, "So you and Hawk aren't together, anymore."
