S2 : Chp 42 : PURPOSE - UNDERGROUND ARENA ARC 2

7 PM.
17TH OCTOBER, 20XX.
IN AN UNKNOWN JUNGLE.

Today is the day of the tournament which is held in Xiang's state.

Everybody assembled at the venue. It was a venue even Xiang didn't know about. Every sponsor with their fighter were waiting eagerly for the fight to start.

The venue was a big mansion. It was built on a private land of a sponsor in jungles. Inside the mansion there were excellent facilities of food, partying and in the basement there was an even bigger area made like a stadium. All fighters were told to assemble in the underground arena and all sponsors were told to assemble in an another room above the arena in the mansion where they had all facilities. The room with the fighters had cameras so sponsors above can watch fights.

Xiang arrived there too. And his fighter was none another than Daniel! But before entering the mansion, Daniel and Xiang had a small talk.

Why Daniel? You may think. Not because he is the mc but he has another purpose of entering this sh*tshow.

20 MINUTES BEFORE ENTERING THE MANSION.

"Hey! Why aren't you telling me why you entered in this tournament?!" asked Xiang.

"Ugh! You can't keep quiet. Okay...listen up. The reason I am here is because if they guys from abandoned enter here they will be recognised immediately and also he is here too." Daniel said.

"He who?" asked Xiang.

"Clark Prez." replied Daniel.

"How did you knew that he's here? I never told you." said Xiang.

"After I won the districts he himself came to me and asked me to participate in this tournament." said Daniel.

"I know you are a good fighter but why only you and not Jake?" asked Xiang.

"That's why I have come here. I don't give jack s*it if I bag the winning amount, all I care is that I fight him." said Daniel.

"So...I won't..get any......money??" asked Xiang.

"No b*tch! You won't. As soon as I finish meeting Clark and you complete your task of finding where Dan is and kill him." explained Daniel.

"What if the foreigners, the sponsors of the game interfere?" asked Xiang.

"They won't. All they care is about money. I am sure these sponsors are money-hungry b***hes who want more revenue and less people. If Dan gets eliminated then his share will be equally divided among the others." said Daniel."Also, how do the sponsors of the game benefit from this?"

"Yes, you are right. There are people in line who want to come on board. And about how the sponsors get benefit is there are people who secretly watch this match through dark web and put their money on the fighters which is directly transferred to the sponsors and then they divide it among themselves." explained Xiang.

"There are top 10 dangerous fighters here right and one was from your cartel who was stompped by Marco so that makes it 9?" asked Daniel.

"Yes. Also the last year's top 10 fighters can re-enter next year without any sponsors. They will have a badge stating their ranks." replied Xiang.

"Okay then let's go!"said Daniel as he walked into the mansion.

Daniel and Xiang parted ways and went into their designated rooms. The room in which Xiang went was filled with businessmen, gangsters, etc from all over the world. The room in which Daniel went had fighters from all over the world.

Daniel immediately pinpointed his target among the crowd but didn't make a move. Clark had a badge on which showed No.2. He was observing everyone from one corner. He even noticed a girl which was a bit surprising for him. The girl had a badge which had No.4 on it.

Daniel started searching for other rankers but before he could search for other guys, a lady came in. She begged for everyone's attention through mic.

She introduced herself as the host of the tournament.

"Hello everyone! I am Maria, the host of today's tournament, game, whatever you may call it. Before beginning the game I must tell you the rules.

1. Other than when allowed by the sponsors no fights are acceptable. Such behaviour by any fighter will not be tolerated and the responsible individual will receive a penalty.

2. Players will receive the amount their opponents hold as their reward.

3. Player who clears the game will receive 2x of the amount he has won through fights.

4. The previous year's top 10 can change their opponents in one-on-one bouts.

5. For winning a bout it's necessary to K.O your opponent. There will be no time limit.

6. Use of weapons is allowed.

7. Sponsors of the game can change the rules as they want.

These are the 6 rules you have to follow. So with that said let's begin the selections!!!!
