S2 : Chp 41 : Confession 2

Melissa pointed at an amusement park.

Daniel's soul left his body.

"Let's go! It will be fun." she said.

"Ye-Yeah." stuttered Daniel.

"Ugh...this crazy b*tch! Somebody stop her. She's gonna rip me off." said Jake in rage.

Daniel and Melissa both went in.

Ken and Jake both ran ahead of them to the park.

"Jake...pay up." said Ken.

"Ughhhhhhh! F**k man, I am gonna die at this rate." said Jake tensely.

"Please. It's for our friend's sake." said ken requesting Jake.

"Okay..." replied Jake.

Again Jake paid up for Daniel and Melissa. The couple had a funtime. But not Jake.

Later, around 8 p.m, Daniel and Melissa were walking around a lake in the same park. Daniel thought it was the perfect place for confessing. Jake and Ken were watching from behind a tree nearby.

"Melissa!" Daniel called her out.

"Yes?" asked Melissa.

Daniel started opening up - "I want to say something. Actually I wanted to say this since our first meeting. I couldn't gather up the courage. We haven't met many times but all the times we have spent together...those were the best times. It wa-"

"Cut the s**t out. You love me, right?" said Melissa interupting Daniel.

"Uh-uhh-umm, yes." Daniel stuttered as Melissa's words were too sudden for him to process.

"I love you, too. You noticed me at the picnic but I noticed you on the first day of school. Those sharp eyes, silky smooth hair, mine are better tho, that rare but worth it smile, everything about you was so unique. You were a really quite person but your eyes conveyed a lot. I knew you liked me since the picnic but I thought of messing around a bit. " Melissa said. At this point Dani was red as a tomato

"But gotta admit you got yourself some great friends. They helped you a lot since morning. I guess they spent a lot on us. You noticed them, didn't you?"

"Ah, yes. I noticed them when they entered the cafe. But you too came just a few minutes after them." said Daniel.

Both of them called out Jake and Ken. Both were suprised as their cover was blown. Jake and Ken immediately ran towards them.

"Sorry guys, you had to go through all this." apologised Melissa.

"Sorry my a**!!!And I gotta say this, this might hurt your feelings, but you eat like a f**king pig!" said Jake expressing his anger.

Melissa with an apologetic expression said, "Ah, all I can say is sorry-"

"Cut the s**t!" said Daniel interrupting.

Daniel got down on his knee. Of course he removed his shoes. Pulled out a diamond ring from his pocket and....

"I love you, Meli."

"I love you too but there really wasn't any need for a ring. You usually do it when you are asking someone for marrying them." said Melissa."By the way, Meli sounds cute!"

"Oh...really, but we are gonna do that too in a few years..." said Daniel.

Melissa blushed.

"Okay, but for now give this ring to Jake as a payback. He did too much for us." she said.

"sob...sob..You are a real one..Melissa." said Jake to Melissa crying.

Daniel handed that ring to Jake but he refused it saying that he did it as a friend.

"We should go back. It's gonna be late." said Ken.

Today was a bitter-sweet-salty-tangy day for our trio but starting tomorrow the preparations are gonna start for another war...
