"I am not interested in any fight but this fight. An only girl among beast. But why a person would sponsor a girl among men? Less money? Could be but I am more inclined to think that she must be too good. Rather I want her to be good." Daniel thought to himself.
Both fighters entered the octagon.
No.4 was a masked girl with decent amount of muscles, lean.
Josh was fairly tall guy, about 6' feet, muscular.
Both stood face-to-face. They were analysing each other.
And the buzzer rang!!!!!!!!
Josh started with a low kick but no.4 dogged it. She took a few steps back.
This time Josh rushed in with full speed and threw a straight right punch at her. She dogged it and quickly got a hold of it and caught Josh in a flying armbar.
Josh screamed in pain. He smacked no.4 on to the ground with the hand she was holding him on to.
But no.4 didn't let go.
Everyone was intrigued in the fight. They were amazed to see a girl going toe-to-toe against a guy double her size.
But Josh still was in that armbar. He tried getting out of it but couldn't. He tried to attack here with his left but his attempt tend to fail.
...but he caught hold of her mask while trying to attack her and pulled it.
No.4's mask came off.
Everyone got a look at her face. No one was much shocked but one, it was Daniel.
He went complete blank for a few minutes. He just stood there staring in shock at the girl.
That girl was none another than Melissa.
IN THE RING
"S**t!...he saw me, he saw me, he saw me!!! Because of you! You exposed me! I'll kill you, you bastard!!!"said Melissa expressing her anger.
She broke Josh's arm. Josh was on his knees. She stood behind him and twisted his neck.
Again not many were shocked as this was a normal thing for them but one.
As Daniel was recovering from the earlier shock, he received another one .
Many emotions ran through his head.
Anger, sorrow, betrayal and much more.
'Did she just killed a person?!' is what Daniel thought to himself.
The match was over.
As soon as the door of the cage was opened Melissa rushed towards Daniel. She hugged him and started crying.
"I am sorry, I am sorry, I am really sorry...sob..sob...I am sorry I hid all this from you." said Melissa to Daniel.
Daniel didn't utter a word he just stood there with Melissa hugging him.
Meanwhile, Maria entered the arena and declared the names of the contestants for the 2nd bout.
"The victor of the 1st bout was no.4 who's face is now revealed. The next and the 2nd bout is-
