S2 : Chp 48 : EPILOGUE : UNDERGROUND ARENA ARC

Eveybody listened to them cry.

Mike embraced Melissa while crying. She tried to push him away but Mike didn't let go of her. Eventually she stopped resisting and hugged him too.

Adam gave the other captainand Daniel to get out of the warehouse and to leave the two siblings alone.

All came out of the warehouse.

"Let them have each other's company a little longer. I'll go meet the kids." said Adam.

"I have to head back to work. I am already late." said Han.

"Me too!" said Marco leaving with Han.

"I'll take Daniel to a clinic and head to work from there." said Jason.

They left too.

"Aren't you going anywhere?" asked Xiang to Ryan.

"I was fired. I was working as a car mechanic and a rude a**hole, prolly in his late 30s, tattoos all over his body, came in with his 1000 year old car, beyond repair. I told him it isn't possible to fix this wreck but dude started s**talking me and threatened my boss. So being the person I am, I broke his car in front of his eyes. He tried to attack me but I locked him in an armbar and broke his right hand. Dude ran away.

But my d*ck-brained boss fired me instead. Now I am jobless." explained Ryan."By the way, druggie, what are you gonna do? Work in a flour mill or something?"

"Apply for a Sales Manager position. Man, I have to make a bio-data." Xiang replied.

"What?!" exclaimed Ryan.

"Yeah, I was a drug dealer but I completed my education. I had a feeling that someday my empire would crumble, so a back up plan." said Xiang.

"Good for you..." said Ryan.

"But are you sure your kendo champ is safe? Should I send my boys to check on him?" asked Xiang about Herald.

"No need. He's capable. I saw it in his eyes when I fought him. I won but he had a wooden stick at that time. If he had a real sword, I would have suffered serious injuries. He was ready to fight till death but he had to stop for his loved one.

I gave him my father's sword. My father had the same eyes as his while he died protecting me. Normally, I don't think about my past but he took me back. I am sure he's good." said Ryan.

"If you say so....Well, then I will leave." said Xiang going back to his place.

"Hey! Hey! I told my guy to call police from a burner phone and informed them about the killings. What if they check the CCTVs or any footage available there? I am sure they will have our faces." said Ryan.

"I had appointed a team to hack into the CCTVs but there were none in the house. As for the streaming of matches, they are not recorded and are protected from government. I also destroyed the devices in the room where Dan was and the streaming is probably controlled by the foreigners who definitely would have stopped the stream after I killed those guys. Police is in my pocket. So you needn't worry." explained Xiang.

Ryan took a breath of relief.

"I was worried for nothing. Well then bye, b*tch." said Ryan as he went to find a new job.

"This f**ker!!" said Xiang in his mind.

LATER THAT DAY.

2:30 P.M.
CAFE COFFEE.

"..So yeah, that's what happened." said Daniel as he narrated the whole incident to his two friends. There was a twitching pain in his voice while he talked about Melissa.

"Hey man, I know it's hard for you to process this, I know, but you should move on. You should probably comfort her. Try talking to her face-to-face. Don't think it will be awkward. Just do it." said Jake as he tried to comfort Daniel.

"Man, I wanted to hug her tight but I was constantly getting reminded her killing a person." said Daniel.

"Killing a person is wrong but her opponent would have definitely killed her, judging by the fact that the rules said 'kill your opponent'." said Ken.

"Just forget about it man. Start anew. Well, I think we should help her financially. What do you guys say?" said Jake trying to cheer up the mood.

"Mike said he'll pay for everything his family needs. Of course without his father knowing." said Daniel.

"It's great then!" said Jake."Well let's order something. I'll pay. Eat as much as you want. Especially you Danny."

"Yeah, I will." said Daniel with a small smile.

"You are gonna be broke today, my guy." said Ken.

They ordered themselves plenty of food. They talked about other stuff than gangs and Melissa. Daniel started to relax a bit. The other two were happy to see him coming back to normal.

Just then a worker at the cafe started the news on television.

It was a news about the incident which took place yesterday night.

"The famous businessman Dan Kaffer was found dead in XXXXX mansion along with some of his associates. Outside the mansion more than a hundered people who are believed to be gangsters are found dead. They have been brutally butchered...."

"Oh man....of all times, now?" said Jake." Don't pay attention.

Ken just turned to look at the T.V for once. The news channel started to show Dan's pictures from his early business days.

All were normal pictures but one got Ken's attention.

"Oh my days! That guy with Dan in that picture, to the left, he is Marco's dad!" exclaimed Ken.

"Yo wtf?! How do you know?" asked Jake in shock.

"I saw Marco's family picture in his room. That man is 100% Marco's father." said Ken.

"So the man who got Marco's dad into gambling was Dan?!" said all three together.

8:00 P.M.
ABANDONED'S HOME.

All captains had gathered together.
along with the trio.

"First off, sorry Xiang. You had to arrive on a short notice." said Adam apologizing to Xiang.

"No problem, please continue." said Xiang.

"We have defeated another one of Asher's captain. Thing to celebrate. But I am worried about why isn't Asher making a move on us?" said Adam expressing his inner thoughts.

"Maybe because he doesn't want to waste his time fight us. Maybe he thinks we are weak." said Ryan.

"No, I don't think so. I think he want us to destroy his kingdom he created. He must be facing some issues within his own jurisdiction." said Daniel.

"I think he's right. If I was in stead of Asher I would have killed you the moment you finished us. But now, you have defeated two." said Xiang supporting Daniel's theory.

"If this true, it's good. We can't handle all of them attacking us. The other gangs may not attack us right now but I am sure they will attack us in future. Not on Asher's order but individually or making an alliance between themselves.

We have defeated 2 captains, Sean and Johan don't have a gang. Simon, Asher's fourth captain is a businessman who handles his money and business matters, so he won't be a problem.

We got 5 more gangs to rake down guys." said Adam.

All captains and trio said with enthusiasm and burning fire in their eyes-

"...And we are gonna take them down."
