Mia gently placed her one-year-old twins into their seats for lunch. Her son sat contentedly in his high chair, while her daughter, Isabela, was being doted on by her grandmother, Alma, who showered her with kisses. Being the first grandchild had its perks.

"You are so beautiful," Alma cooed, hugging Isabela tightly.

"Mama, she needs to eat," Mia said with a smile, reaching for her daughter.

Alma, still smiling, handed Isabela to Mia. "I wonder what her gift will be."

"Probably something beautiful, just like her," Mia replied. A storm began to gather outside, darkening the sky.

"Pepa, what's wrong now?" Alma asked, noticing the sudden change in weather.

"I'm sorry, Mama. It's just that Dolores won't stop crying," Pepa said, clearly upset.

"Let me see her," Mia offered, and Pepa handed over her crying daughter. "Hey, Dolores," Mia said soothingly. Dolores continued to cry until Mia gave her a bottle, and she immediately quieted down, soon falling asleep.

"How? I just fed her," Pepa said, perplexed.

"She just needs a bit of family love," Mia said with a soft smile as Dolores drifted off to sleep.

"Thank you so much, Mia," Felix said, grateful for her help.

"No problem at all," Mia replied.

Alma glanced around the room. "Is everyone here?" she asked, noticing Julieta's absence. "Where is Julieta?"

Julieta came rushing in, out of breath. "Sorry, sorry, I'm late," she said, her eyes briefly meeting Agustin's before they both looked away. Pepa noticed the exchange but kept quiet.

"Now that we're all here," Alma began, "I wanted to remind you all that in three years, the children will be receiving their gifts. We need to help them understand our story so they can be ready to start their own. We must keep our miracle alive for every generation."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Julieta glanced at her stomach and then at her mother. Pepa noticed and made a mental note to investigate.

"Off you go, La Familia Madrigal," Alma said, prompting everyone to disperse.

"¡La Familia Madrigal!" they all chorused before sitting down to eat and eventually going their separate ways.

Agustin was about to leave when Mia stopped him. He turned to face her.

"Yes?" he asked.

"Are you coming to the store with us?" Mia asked.

Agustin glanced over at Julieta, who was waiting for him. "Uh, not today. I have something to do, but I'll see you tonight, okay?"

Mia nodded and left with the kids. Pepa caught up to her younger sister.

"Did you see that?" Pepa asked.

"See what?" Mia replied.

"There's something going on between those two. They kept looking at each other all through lunch," Pepa said.
