"They have time to gather their wounded, this is the time we have to take action" Voldemort's whispering-snake-like-voice says to his followers.
"I would, volunteer to help you anytime, my lord" Bellatrix says, Elise, had to creep forward to see, carefully, always carefully.
"No, Draco. Kill anyone in your way, kill anything, show no mercy, these are our enemies." Voldemort commands Draco, who stands scared behind his parents, but as soon as his name was called he showed himself clearly and tried to hide what his face wouldn't show.
"Yes," He paused. "my lord" His voice, didn't tremble like Elise had thought it would, it sounded steady and ready.
Elise watch Draco, curiously, his face had tears stained there, and they glistened in the moonlight. He was scared, she wouldn't have guessed. But, as she was destracted by Draco's lit up face, she was spotted by the group. "There in the trees, get her," Bellatrix pointed straight at Elise, and her eyes widened in fear.
"Get the oaf to hold her, Draco you've got a practice target"
Elise tried to sramble but Hagrid was forced to grab her, and she couldn't do anything, she was too afraid, her body froze but, tears sprang from her eyes, and quiet sobs broke out before she could stop it. "N..n..n..no!" She whispered to herself.
Hagrid set her down, in front of the huge group of death eaters, facing Draco Malfoy. She shook her head to Draco and pleaded with her eyes. Draco, had more noticeable tears fall down his face, as he gave a slight nod to Elise. He smiled evily. "Perfect, but I would like to kill her brutly in private, my own triumph of your service, my lord" He bowed his head, still with the smile.
Voldemort smiled and laughed, the most ugly, terrifying laugh she had ever heard, she wanted to cover her ears and crouch in fright, but Hagrid held her tightly. "I knew you would come through," He motioned for Draco to come, and Draco did, Voldemort hugged him and let him go to kill Elise...
She began screaming herself awake."No!" Elise breathed, in, out, in, out, in, out. Vastly, her hands up in front of her face, shielding her from the first nightmare in four weeks, breaking the streak.
"Why are you screaming at the bloody break of dawn" Draco whined, downstairs in seconds.
Elise, was wet with sweat, and shaking slightly at the memory. "Sorry, nothing. Go back to bed." She swallowed fiercely, seeing Draco after the nightmare was even more terrifying.
"And let you scream me awake again? I am awake now," He blew out a breath and sat on the couch, where her feet where.
"Ow, Malfoy, get off" Elise scrambled to get her feet out from under him.
He stood, and waited for Elise, to move her feet. "I thought you were going to move your legs, guess your brain's still missing."
"Draco Malfoy" She raised to sitting position. "Stop calling me names and trying to make yourself feel better. Or I will smack some sense into you, and if that still doesn't do anything I will use my wand." He looked scared, and that brought a smile to her face.
She laid back down with her knees to her chest, not wanting to touch Malfoy at the slightest.
Draco still didn't want to say sorry, he had almost never had to say sorry, though he knew that was a big lie now, he had a million things to say sorry for, he just didn't. But, if he had to Marry, Have fake children, and live with this girl for the rest of their lives, he might as well start learning, he swore if he ever had children, he would never raise them the way he was, fouly.
He breathed in, and his shoulders raised, and he slumped them with a breath out. "I..." He swallowed, and cleared his throat. "I um..., am" He sucked in another breath and whispered. "Sorry"
Elise shot up, and squinted at Draco through the dim light. "What?" She blurted out. But, Draco just laughed. Elise raised a brow. "Are you okay?" She leaned closer to him.
"I am sorry." He said it clearer and louder.
"Whoah, whoah, whoah, Draco Malfoy is apolizging?" Now Elise giggled. "I feel honoured."
Draco rolled his eyes. "Shut it, won't you"
"No" He met her eyes, with curiosity. "We need to place some rules, darling" She giggled more and shot out of her blanket and the couch, crossing the room to the matching double desks they were meant to use for their homework, and grabbed a quill and parchment, she waved her arm with a spell she learned somewhere to make the ink last longer and sat back in front of Draco.
"What is this?" Draco stared at Elise, her eyes were bright and excited.
"We are going to make a contract before our family is made," She shook her head and laughed quietly. "So, I will make one term, then you will, and after it's done, we will sign it and make it official." She looked to Draco to see if he was on the same page as her, he was.
"Why do you get to go first, I am the man of this family, and the oldest." He assumed.
"When is your birthday?" A mischeivious smile came to her lips.
"June 5th 1980" He waited for her to say her's.
Her shoulder's slumped. "How did you do that?" She pouted.
"Oh no, our children aren't even born and I already have to take care of a baby" He shook his head but couldn't keep the smile from his face.
"I am not" But, she was still pouting. "June 6th" She muttered.
"Your birthday?" He watched her.
"Yeah, you beat me by a day" Her bottom lip puckered, and she crossed her arms over her chest. He shook his head slightly and rolled his eyes, but he grabbed the quill and parchment, and started scribbling. "Hey, no." She tried to take the quill back but, he was already done writing.
She read what he wrote. And looked up at him. "No" She said sturnly.
"Why?"
"Why?" She started at him. "Are you kidding me? Your disgusting, I thought we were doing great." She stood up and walked straight to the fridge.
"It's hilarious, and it's on the parchment, so it's happening." He smiled.
She grabbed strawberries, and put them on the counter, and began cutting them in half. "It's not," She said with a mouthful.
"It is, love," He winked, playfully.
Elise put her hands on her hips and gave him a disappointed look. "Love? Not. A. Chance." She paused to pop another one in her mouth, then turned to him. "Darling" She smiled and turned back to her strawberries.
"Come on, it is bound to happen sometime, we will be happily married and a family" He was still smiling.
"Doesn't mean I like it" She argues.
He drops the smile and stares deeply into her eyes. "You're right, you won't like it, darling, You'll love it."
