~The day after~
"Are you packed yet?" Draco asks, walking into the room Elise stayed in.
She threw some last-minute things in her bag and closed it shut, took a deep breath (still not making eye contact with Draco), nodded anyway and put a small smile on and walked past him. "Okay then," Draco watched suspiciously at her behaviour.
"I really am sad to see you go," Narssica says to Elise.
"I'm sure you are, but school, you know how important it is." Elise shrugs with a dash of sadness, though Draco could see she was only putting on a show for his mother.
"Our train leaves right away, sorry mother." He interrupts.
"Of course," Narssica bows her head.
"We'll come to visit mother," Draco nods and kisses her on the cheek and follows Elise who is already walking to the train station.
"Am I not going the right way?" Elise asks simply as Draco catches up to her and stands in her path.
"What is happening? Why are you acting like this?" He looks her in the eyes with worry and a dash of anger. "I know I don't know much about marriage and couples, but I don't think they act like this," he comments still looking her straight in the eyes.
"It doesn't matter. You don't care Malfoy." His well-known last name hit him in the chest, like a spell. They stood there face to face, eyes locked and fierce.
"It's time to leave." Draco breaks eye contact and anything that might've been there before. His stone-cold face came back to play and looked like it wasn't leaving for a while.
"Finally," She mutters in anger and walks past him to the train station.
