Draco watches her twist and turn in her sleep, she looks troubled, she probably is. His fists clenched at his side at the thought, but why? He didn't want to think about it but was curious at the same time. He didn't want to care, but he did, and that frustrated him.

And yet, looking at her sleep he found a stillness in it, a warmth. Like a fire in the wintertime to keep you warm when you need it most. The feeling was strange and new to Draco Malfoy, and yet he didn't want it to be gone, to leave him.

After a while, Elise's sleep becomes slow and softer and she was still. Draco walked up to the bed she slept quietly in, the bed was so big it made her look small amount the blankets and pillows.

And then he did something out of the ordinary, and surprising. He bent down and kissed the sleeping girl's forehead ever so lightly and left to sleep in his room.

"How is the breakfast Draco?" Narssica asks the next day, she sits at the end of the long table while Elise and Draco sit across from each other.

"It's wonderful, mother." He nods his head slightly and continues eating.

He wears a black suit with a white dress shirt showing, along with shiny black shoes. His hair doesn't look like it's been styled at all, for it was messy, and strands of hair framed his face. He looked like his third-year self again.

Elise found a dress on her bed that morning when she woke up, deciding she didn't want to be rude to her guest, she wore it. It was a black dress that was tight against her body, the sleeves went to her elbow and were a black netted with black leaves and vines climbing up and down her arms. She felt weird wearing this, it wasn't her style, and it was a dress. She didn't wear dresses often, she hated them because they would remind her of her childhood.

"You'll have to tell Clarisse on your way out," Narssica says with a dash of sourness.

"Mother please don't be mad," Draco hated it when his parents were mad, he knew it was because they weren't proud of his life choices, it was a constant reminder he didn't want.

"I wouldn't be mad if it weren't for-"

"It's my fault ma'am," Elise finally speaks.

The mother and son look to the uncomfortable-looking girl in surprise. "How is it your fault?" Narssica asks spying the girl now. Elise felt as if she was looking through her sole and suddenly felt nervous and self-conscious.

"I-actually it was an assignment, and we were meant to visit both of our families for Christmas as apart of it," Elise looked at Draco and there eyes met, "and explain the assignment." Narssica looked curious now.

"This is true Draco?" She asked, now looking at him.

"Yes, mother." Draco stood, walked around the table and sat beside Elise.

Narssica watched. "Well, what is the assignment?"

"Well-"

"Well, mother." Draco grabbed Elise's hand from her lap and softly slid a ring unto her finger, her eyes widened and yet she didn't move. "The assignment is called 'The Baby Assignment', and it's what it sounds like, but with a twist." Draco interlocked his fingers with Elise's and her breathing picked up at the warmth of his hands, and his surprising actions."Mother, Elise and I are engaged."
