I found a tree with good sturdy branches and a thick trunk. Ha thick. My friends and I would joke about a word like that.  Thick. It just rolls off your tongue like a good burger. Yeah we had burgers in the city. Anyways I found this tree. It immediately took my breath away and so I immediately started climbing it. It had a wide center so that was good to sit in. A large amount of branches of all kinds, small, big, you name it this tree has it.

I sit down in the middle and just think. Think about where I would be if my mom didn't die. I would be in school, learning about atoms and teasing my best friends about crushes. I think about what will happen in the future. What if I go to school and no one likes me? What if Ashley hates me forever? Why do I always have the worst luck? First my mom dies, then I have to live with my dad, and now the only girl that I have truly liked hates me! I have to have the worst luck in the whole world. Man this tree makes people think.

I'm interrupted by voices down below me. "Did you find the girl?" A deep voice says. "Will ya give me enough time?! I've only been able to track her down." This voice comes from a different man. "All of those types of people live anywhere near water. We need her." The deep voice man says.

What? Who's her? Why do they want her? And why do they keep referring to her as those people? Dang! This stupid tree!

Oooooo it's getting juicy! Ok that's all to this chapter. It only has 290 words. Not as much as I wanted but pretty good! As always hope you like this don't forget to vote comment and obviously like!
