tw/ self harm

Yuri logged into her bank account as she sighed frustrated.

My parents took all my savings.

For simply not answering the door.

Yuri scoffed irritated.

"What a smart ass way to make me come back and live with them" Yuri muttered under breath.

She sighed, exhausted this time.

She'd now have to live off her grandma's savings, which wasn't bad, but she felt guilty doing so.

Not like she'd be needing it often anyway.

Now that she was stuck in that damn hospital.

Yuri decided to go for a walk in the park to clear out her head.

A lot had happened in the span of a couple weeks.

"Why is my life going to shit again.." Yuri thought as she noticed someone sitting on a bench ahead of her.

It was Juwon.

I hoped that he wouldn't notice me, but that's exactly what he did.

"Hey Yuri, come over here-!" He shouted obviously to get her attention.

Yuri shut her eyes taking a breath walking over to him.

"What do you want" She said deadpan.

"Why so cold?"

"Oh, I don't know.. might be the fact you hurt my boyfriend?" Yuri sarcastically shrugged.

Yuri felt a bit tense, she had almost forgotten that Huening Kai was her fake boyfriend to lure Juwon away.

"Oh right.. about that" He said looking down at his hands rested on his legs. "I'm sorry"

Yuri eased up a bit and looked at him confused.

Did Juwon just apologize?

"You're what?" She asked.

"I'm sorry- it's just.." He paused, "I'm going through a lot right now"

Yuri sat up, she relented.

"What exactly is going on" Yuri asked finally sitting next to Juwon.

"My parents are finally getting a divorce, I mean I saw it coming but it just took a big toll on my pathetic life"

"Why pathetic?" Yuri asked.

"I fucking hate my life, they're always fighting- it's always been like that"

I guess that explains the aggression..

"And since I'm still a minor one of them needs to have custody of me" He said holding his head irritated.

"I don't know who I'd rather stay with" He said, "I hate them both"

Never thought I'd ever relate to someone I hated.

Yuri glanced over to his arms. She froze, she felt a chill run down her spine.

Her name was carved into his skin.

Yuri felt her heart race, she didn't know what to do.

I won't even bother mentioning it.

"Well, I know how you feel, so trust me you aren't alone" Yuri reassured him now feeling uncomfortable.

"Yeah I guess sometimes I forget I'm not the only one" Juwon said trying to reach for Yuri's hand as she dodged it by checking her phone.

"It's getting late, and people are wondering where I am," Yuri lied getting up.

"Thanks for hearing me out, Yuri" Juwon thanked as Yuri felt uneasy from his small smile.

Why's he suddenly acting so different?

"No problem" Yuri said heading off saying nothing more after that.

Yuri sped walked home as she kept peering over her shoulder trying to see if Juwon or that guy with the hoodie was following her.
