Kai ran to the park as he didn't stop for anything. Kai finally made it as he panted looking around to find an empty park.

He sighed, feeling disappointed as he looked over and found who he was looking for sitting at a swing.

Kai walked over and wrapped his arms around them from behind. He could feel his heart race and his lips curl into a smile.

"I missed you Yuri" Kai said, almost whispering.

Yuri held his hand as he noticed Yuri's state.

She was fatigue, a bit pale, her hair messy.

Yet he couldn't stop smiling at her.

"I missed you too Kai, I thought of you everyday and kept the plushie with me at all times" Yuri smiled making Kai's heart skip beats.

"Really-? I'm glad.. I couldn't stop thinking of you" Kai admitted as Yuri felt her ears sting.

"I wasn't expecting to hear that from you.." Yuri muttered as Kai laughed.

"Why wouldn't I, I see you everyday, I don't know how I managed 2 weeks without my daily dose of Yuri" He smiled.

Yuri laughed, it felt great, she hasn't genuinely laughed in a while.

"I'm just- really glad you're back.. I thought I was starting to go crazy seeing you everywhere"

"Heh, you're saying that when I was the one in the mental hospital" Yuri joked.

"But in all honesty, I kept having this same dream of you" Yuri said looking at the sunset sky.

"What was it about?" Kai said intrigued.

"You, standing in a grassy field and just smiling at me." Yuri said looking at the clouds.

"And you always tried to hand me something but I don't know what" Yuri explained.

"Pretty silly right-?" Yuri laughed nervously.

"Not at all, I think it's a beautiful thing to dream about" Kai said.

"Oh yeah, cause you're in it" Yuri blurted out as Kai blushed.

"Oh really-?" Kai asked flustered.

"Of course.." Yuri said feeling embarrassed she said that aloud.

"Oh by the way- I found this stored in the depths of my closet" Kai said handing her a necklace.

It was beautiful, it was a silver heart shaped necklace that opened and closed and a space for a small photo. It had engraved designs on it.

Yuri teared up a bit, she had never received a gift like this.

"Yuri don't cry" Kai smiled reassuringly.

"I'm sorry- I just really liked your gift" Yuri said wiping her tears, "It's stupid isn't it, crying over the smallest things?"

"It's not stupid, I think it's a good thing" Kai said, "my mom barely shows emotions like crying so I'm glad you can express it openly"

Yuri thought about what Kai said, maybe he had a point.

"I promised my mom I'd be back before dark, see you tomorrow Kai" Yuri smiled, waving.

"You don't want me to walk you home?" Kai asked hoping she'd say yes.

"No- I don't know how'd my parents react to me 'dating' you-" Yuri laughed nervously. "besides I begged them to let me come out here to see you"

"Alright- stay safe Yuri" Kai said smiling feeling disappointed.

Kai sat on the swing as Yuri walked away from his grasp again. His heart was in his mouth and he tried to keep it shut.
