chapter nine

VERY SHORT CHAPTER AHEAD

"i finally found you.." (name)'s voice echoed through the hall, ethan looked behind him, eyes widening as he saw the woman walking up to him. he took his gun out and started shooting her.

he knew that bullets were not able to affect the lady, but he tried shooting her to slow her down.. and maybe stun her for a short period.

"your bullets cannot harm me."

"i know, that's what your daughter said before she crumbled into pieces."

his sentence made the woman fume in rage, "you fucking—!"  she shouted, tentacles suddenly growing out of her back, lashing out on the man. 

"shit!" he stopped shooting and just focused on running away from the angered woman. "that's right, run away while you still can!" she laughed, chasing the scared man around the place. "you'll pay for everything you did!"

she chased ethan around the castle, tentacles almost destroying everything in the corridors, rooms, everywhere ethan walked in. 

they reached the library, where one of her daughter was killed by the same man. "you have nowhere to run to.."

'like mother like daughter huh..' 

ethan thought as he ran around the library, trying to dodge every attack (name) sent. "come here boy!" she laughed, sending more attacks. 

ethan managed to get hit multiple times, to no surprise. "fuck.." he cursed, seeing the woman come near him. "i'm going to drain your blood, and feed you to my lycans." 

"try then, you crazy witch." ethan said as he regained his posture, pointing his shotgun at her tentacles. he shot it short, making the woman scream in pain.

"curse you.." she hissed, she glared at him. 

suddenly, lycans emerged from the ground. "get him." the lycans roared as they obeyed what their master said.

"oh, are you fucking kidding me!?" ethan groaned, feeling tired of the dimitrescu family bullshits. look, the man just wants to find his daughter.

ethan held his gun again, shooting the lycan's heads off, blood splattering around the palace. (name) summoned more lycans, all having one job, bring the lady ethan winters.

"we'll see if you can escape all of them.." 

(name) muttered examining her tentacle that was cut by the man. the part that was still attached to her back was regrowing quite fast. 

she started moving again after her tentacle completetly finished regrowing. "where the fuck is alcina when i need her?"

"he's on a hunt for our heads. i can't believe that some mortal like him became a huge threat to the house dimitrescu." (name) muttered, before summoning more lycans to roam around the castle in search for the man.

"i have told him that the child isn't anywhere in this castle, but he thinks i'm lying." lady dimitrescu said, sitting on the couch, holding her cigarette.

"i had him earlier, if it wasn't for him and his stupid gun managing to cut my tentacle off, i would've had killed him." she turned to face the countess. "i don't fucking care if i grew weak after he killed our daughters, i'm going to go after him, slice his head off, drain the blood out of his body, and feed him to the lycans." she spat, hands balled into fists. 

a crow suddenly appeared inside the place, landing on (name)'s shoulder, she groaned. "for fuck's sake.." 

lady dimitrescu chuckled, "go, i'll take care of winters." (name) suddenly softened and smiled at her wife, "thank you dear." she walked right in front of lady dimitrescu, and gave her a small kiss. "stay safe." she put her hand on lady dimitrescu's cheek.

"i have to go.. i'll see you."

a/n: one more chapter and woohoo we're finally done 🥳 i've gone through so many writer's block while writing this book even though it looks really easy to write chapters. i really had a hard time writing chapters lol (i know it only has ten chapters in total dont laugh at me lmao) 

the tentacles are similar to saddler's (from resident evil 4)
