5 #BIRTHDAY PRESENT

JUNGKOOK'S POV

It was dark slowly opening my eyes at first I felt a breeze on my face adjusting to my sight I could see the waves which were gently crawling to the shores. I picked up the scent of the sea breeze and looking ahead I saw a gleaming ocean in the far distance, for a moment I was lost in the calming breeze almost forgetting how I came here.

I could hear the children's laughter who were running around while their parents were working on something which I was not sure what it was, everyone was so indulge in doing that specific thing. The sun sets creating a beautiful orange view which then was getting dark being replaced with the beautiful half moon. After a few minutes of contemplating I realized they were setting up the lanterns 'wait is it the lanterns festival?' I'm not even sure...

I continue to study their actions and I can't help than smile at how happy they looked but... Wait a goddamn minute why don't I recognized anyone? where is my family? why am i barefooted? i continue asking myself and I look in front of me I see a figure which had his back at my view "that blonde fluffy hair is familiar"... Out of curiosity I decided to approach him.

As if sensing someone he slowly turns and I'm shook....no it can't be, "Kook_ah you came" he sweetly says "I missed you" that hug..... it feels real?.....

I hug him back tighter afraid he would slip away from my embrace "I missed you too angel where are you? why aren't you with us? we miss you.." I continue rambling as he sweetly smiles at me "I'm always here not physically but in your heart I will always be there and with Minnie too,now it's time you wake up" I looked at him dumbfounded and everything disappeared.

I feel someone poking my face those tiny touches, I hear some giggles. I felt something warm on my cheek and suddenly became cold squinting my eyes open slowly am met with Jungmin's wide doe eyes oh how she looked so cute... this sight makes me smile.

She woke up early today I picked her up and placed her on my chest as she continues to giggle what happened earlier I think it was a dream seeing how Jungmin is so adorable I even forgot what I was dreaming of earlier. When I felt something warm I guess she was trying to kiss my cheeks like we usually do "well baby you learn pretty fast ohhh come here let daddy give you more kisses" she giggles again as I play with her chubby cheeks.

"Finally the two babies woke up now it's time to freshen up don't forget it's Jungmin's day you cant sleep all day" mum comes in the room and picks up Jungmin who happily goes with her. When she goes to prepare her I decided to also freshen up since I'm going to meet hyungs today and Nammin how much I miss her. Satisfied with my looks I head out of the room only to be met with a beautiful birthday view the balloons, the cakes, everything was just so well decorated my bro was really enthusiastic about this day he literally begged to do all this and how could I still say no.

As I was admiring the view I could hear Jin hyung shout all the way from outside "where is the birthday girl I want to see her..." "Yes I'm meeting Jungmin again I missed her" I hear Nammin's excited voice. The three come in with Nammin running to me and I picked her up swirling her around "I missed you uncle"... "I missed you too doll" I kiss her forehead.

Namjoon and Jin hyung adopted a girl and named her Nammin they do love her as their own and I love her too in fact I'm her favorite. It's been a while since they visited and that explains her excitement they promised to be at Jungmin's birthday "I bought you a gift even though it's not your birthday I just thought since you have been away for a long time I got you something I hope you like it" I see her grinning ear-to-ear "really?" she asks "of course why would I lie" I place her down "I always love your gifts" she giggles and run to Jungmin who was clapping her hands excited the two get along.

The hyungs and I do some catching up and I even told them the earlier incident in the aquarium I could see the shocked expression on their faces and before they could ask more mum interrupted and it was time to cut the cake so we didn't get to talk much about it.

The celebration didn't have very many people family members and a few friends Jungmin is still adapting to the surrounding and I guess we should do it in slow motion. She looked really happy playing with Nammin who kept on smearing some cake onto her face and Jungmin doing the same it was really funny to watch.

"Best sight ever" Jin starts to dramatically cry "Oh come on honey don't you dare shed a tear on this beautiful day"Namjoon warns "it's tears of joy" the two continue to bicker and I just laugh I'm not even sure who I should look at their bickering or the two adorable ones playing I'm not even sure.

I could see a slight change in Jungmin's eyes I don't know if it's me but..."hey do you see a change in Jungmin she looks kind of Pale please tell am seeing things" I start to get worried I feel a pat on my shoulder "stop worrying look she's happily playing" Namjoon says and I try to calm myself but I can't stop to feel restless.

Dae had told me to watch her out Incase something indifferent happens he was sure that...maybe there will be changes in her and since she's turning one we should be ready for anything and here I am worried seeing her pale skin.....what if the others see but again seeing how happy she got I can't help than let her be I should stop being paranoid and let her be happy.

The day was full of joy smiles and lots of giving out gifts, by evening the party had ended and seeing Jungmin's drowsy eyes I could tell that she was tired I guess that was a very long day for her "I'll take her" I tell mom and she hands her to me and I take her to my room.

Good thing she had already fed I washed her up put her in comfy overall and soon as I was done she fell asleep right there and then. I spend a little more time with her as I admire her cuteness I smile to myself how lucky I got to have her and after a few minutes I decide to join hyungs since we got a lot to talk about.

It was around 9pm and Nammin was already asleep.

We talk about some random things about work and about some three guys "Hobi wouldn't stop nagging me he wants to know how you have a kid before him" Jin says irritated "I want them to be surprised don't even tell them much about her I want them to come back and see her not to call me on video calls" I say. The three wouldn't believe that I have a kid and they are curious about who is the mom.

Suddenly I feel uneasy "hyung Jungmin is not ok" I stood up and ran my room I don't know how but I can feel Jungmin is not ok and I was.....right.

"Hyung call Dae" I say worried and I keep on touching Jungmin's forehead she was burning up. She was doing just fine awhile ago and now... I guess these are the signs.

She was sobbing, I could feel her pain I feel the burn 'is this what she is experiencing then it's definitely painful I wish I could take all the pain but I can't" I held her into my arms and try to calm her down but it's like was getting worse "please tell him to hurry" i tell Namjoon hyung frustrated.

Jin hyung brought a wet cloth and place it on her forehead if it could help but I'm also not sure how to help her am such a bad father I couldn't even do something to soothe her pain away.

I walk back and forth with her in my arms she didn't even opened her eyes yet and the frown on her adorable face was pretty visible, this broke my heart seeing her like this, I bring her close to my chest and hug her "it's ok baby you will be alright.... it's ok .....it's ok" I continue to whisper to her.
