THIRD PERSON'S POV

Minjae slowly makes his way to Jimin's chamber to see how he was doing, he felt bad seeing the younger had got hurt he was regretting leaving his side even for once.

He took a sit beside him and held his hand leaving a peck at the back of his bruised hand "even though your bruised you still look beautiful to my eyes" he says trailing his slim tall fingers across his perfect jaw.

Jimin had a cut under his left eye, another big cut on his forehead his jaw was bruised too, busted lower lip and down to his neck he had hand marks of someone choking him, down to his torso he had a big bandage wrapped around him but a little above the wound were green marks 'must be the poison' he thought. The poison had made his healing slower and that explains why he hasn't healed even a bit.

Minjae felt his heart break into million of pieces just when he found someone that captured his heart and this had happened "Am sorry i didn't protect you i should be blamed" he held his hand to his heart and let the silence engulf them.

After explaining everything to Jimin's parents they couldn't help than sob to whatever was happening to their pup why was everything so complicated mostly to their beloved son, after that episode Tae had gone to prepare Jimin's favorite meal and some herbs that Dae had prescribed to help him energize, "he will love this" he smiled after decorating the food and swam back to the chamber.

Tae froze in his his place when he saw a familiar figure "where have i seen him before,?" he thought "oh yes I saw him on the battle field i thought he was one of the soldiers" he looked at how he kept on caressing his hand and Tae was getting angry by the second, why was the said person looking at Jimin with eyes filled with love...no...no only one person was allowed to do that, Tae wasn't accepting what was in front of him. He placed down the food and approached him.

"What do you think you are doing?" Tae asked calmly but the hidden anger in that voice even a mad person could recognize it.

Minjae startled let go of Jimin and stood up, he looked at Tae as he found him familiar 'I think I saw him at the battlefield' he thought he cleared his throat and introduced...? scratch that he actually asked him a question he wasn't sure who the guy was "I should be asking you a question here who are you?" he asked back and Tae was losing it who does he think he is asking him that question, before he could do anything stupid they had a weak voice beside them "stop fighting already I can feel it" he joked "the thing is simple just introduce each other already don't make this complicated I feel headache just hearing questions thrown at each other" Jimin sigh tiredly there was no way he was going to listen to them bicker.

He sat upright and looked at then as he rubbed his sleepy eyes "Am Tae Jimin's best friend his soulmate" Tae proudly introduced himself with a smug expression 'so he is the person whom I never saw years after I thought he disappeared, how comes he's back' Minjae continued to take notes in his head. "Am Minjae, Jimin's fiance" it was his turn to have a smug expression, Tae's jaw almost dropped "fiance?" he asked in disbelief "Jimin you got alot of explaining to do" Tae sat next to him with wide eyes as Minjae sat in front of them.

"It's true, in return for his collaboration I have to marry him" Jimin made it sound so simple, Tae's jaw now definitely dropped "what the hell Jimin, what about Jungkook you gave up on him just like that.....do you know how he suffered all those years waiting for you" Tae was screaming. Minjae on the other hand had alot of questions 'who is Jungkook?' he never had that name before so who was he, were they lovers? he was getting jealous. "Tae calm down" Jimin held him in position.

"It's been years since the birth of the twins and our separation how do you expect me to just come from nowhere saying that I was back think about it I can't just show up and now that I have been ready poisoned there's no luck for me I'm going to die anyway try to understand my point of view we just slayed that beast who was behind those painful years and then what just show up, I know what you trying to make me understand but also try to understand why I'm doing all this now that the poison is going to kill me anyway I don't want to give him false hopes i cant see him be sad for my death" Jimin was on verge of tears now.

Tae was feeling guilty for his actions, he pulled him into his embrace "am sorry...am sorry ..." he continued to apologize "no more....I understand you" he pat his back as Jimin sniffed "he suffered for all those years I know.... but again how can I add onto those years" he finally broke down "forgive my lack of knowledge" Tae kiss his forehead and pat on his shoulders "say no more" he shook his head and Jimin nodded turning to Minjae who had gone bitter to the revelation "Min, I know your curious as to who is Jungkook?" he asked and Minjae nod "well he was my boyfriend, let me rephrase that, he was my mate" he smile a bit, just his thought only made him happy, Minjae wouldn't deny he didn't see Jimin's eyes sparkling just at the mention on his name 'he must loved him dearly' he thought "how comes i never heard about him?" he asked "well because he is not a merman he's human on land" Minjae was surprised "even Tae lives on land that's why you never got to meet him before" if you could say Minjae was utterly confused it could be an understatement "how is it possible?" he asked with a questioning gaze "there are a lot of things you don't know child" Tae mocked "hey eat this" Tae passed the food to Jimin who's eyes for the first time never sparkle seeing what he loves "hey what is with that expression?" Tae ask in disbelief didn't the younger like it anymore "it's just that in many years I got to eat what you made me" he smiled sadly "sorry for not being there" Jimin shook his head "lets not spoil the atmosphere, Minjae I will tell you the whole story" Minjae nod in anticipation, Jimin took the herb with complaining on how it was bitter on top, he ate his food and turned to Minjae.

He narrated the whole story leaving out nothing at all he decided he will be honest he doesn't want him getting his hopes high the person who was being told the story was on the verge of tears hearing how everything ended sadly, he even regret not finding about this type of happening despite the fact that he used to follow him all around.

"So Minjae am sorry that everything will have to end like this, you are aware am going to die anyway sorry to give you false hopes" Jimin looks down and Minjae hold his chin up "it's ok, allow me be besides you that's all I wanted to always do" Jimin couldn't help than hug him "thanks for understanding me" Minjae hugged him back as Tae looked at them, he wasn't angry he was happy that someone understood him and had no ill intentions.

"So what is your plan now?" Tae asked "I want the twins to reunite, they're siblings and Jungkook needs to meet his son, I want the three to know each other I would be happy" Jimin smile fondly the way he loves the three was beyond the word love.

"I'm going back to land now that we got rid of the curse I think it's ok now in fact let's not even waste time this is the time that they should meet" he concluded suddenly Minjae spoke "I'm coming with you" the two were shocked "but you have never gone to land" Tae pointed out "I promised you that I would be beside you until the day..." he never finished his statement more like he doesn't believe such thing should happen "are you sure?" Jimin ask again "I'm sure please give me a chance" the two smiled at him and agreed "well I don't have a problem with it" Tae shrugged he finally accepts this man.

"I haven't seen Kookmin yet, my baby must be worried" Jimin wanted to go check on him but one of the mermaids came in panting "your majesty..." she said worried "what happened?" Jimin stood up "t..the young prince..." Jimin's ears perked up "what happened to my baby?" he asked panicking "he...he is nowhere to be seen"........
