It had been about 2 weeks after Cassie and Harry's little meeting at the Astronomy Tower and Cassie just had gotten a letter back from her mother. She had asked her mother about any information she might have on the first task and Cassie could only pray she did. So, there she sat in her dorm, anxiously reading the letter with her beloved grey British Shorthair sleeping comfortably on her lap.

My dear Cassiopeia,

I hope you and your brother are both doing well, if you need anything, remember, I am just a letter away. As you have requested, I have heard some rumors flying around the topic of the first task but I doubt they are useful. The most useful thing I've heard is from your father and his friends talking about dragons being the first task. Though I do not know why you'd want to know, I hope this satisfies your curiosity. Write to me soon, have a wonderful day, my dear. Send your brother my love.

With love,

Mother

Cassie grinned to herself, this was Narcissa Malfoy she was talking about, of course, she'd have the information. After writing a quick thank you letter back and sending it off, Cassie hurriedly ran downstairs to find her friends waiting for her impatiently.

"Aw, you guys waited," Cassie pouted teasingly.

"Aw, you guys waited," Draco mimicked before rolling his eyes. "Shut up and let's go, we don't have all day,"

After a few remarks were thrown back and forth, the Slytherins finally left for Hogsmeade. While on the way to Hogsmeade, Cassie had repeatedly searched for any signs of messy jet black hair, or glasses with emerald eyes behind it but Harry was nowhere to be found. They did their usual shopping, Cassie bought a good deal of sweats from Honeydukes because she was running out of candy, the girls did a little clothing shopping and Theodore as usual bought a stack of new books. Lastly, the Slytherins all settled down for some butterbeer and their Hogsmeade trip was over.

Cassie tried to pull on her scarf a little tighter because the sun had set and the night had started to get really cold. Her friends had all separated after dinner and now, Cassie was walking through the corridors. They came back a little late so Cassie didn't really have time to put away her shopping bags so there she was now, in heeled boots, carrying different varies of shopping bags as she tried her best to not fall. Somehow, she didn't hear footsteps at the turn of the corridor, and the person on the other side somehow didn't hear the loud clicking of her heeled boots as both made a sharp turn, crashing into each other as the bags flew out of Cassie's arms and they both went tumbling down.

"For Salazar's sake!" Cassie groaned, not even surprised that Harry was the person who had bumped into her. "Do you really like bumping into me or are you just blind and deaf?"

"What's got your wand in a knot?" Harry asked as he helped Cassie get up.

"You literally bumped into me," Cassie deadpanned, as she collected her bags with Harry helping her.

"You bumped into me too!"

"You should've heard me walking or something!" Cassie retorted but calmed herself down afterward. "Where are you going?"

"Hagrid said he has something to show me," Harry shrugged, handing her the last item, stealing a box of chocolate frogs.

"I saw that, Potter," Cassie rolled her eyes, not having the energy to argue. "Listen, remember the letter I wrote to my mother?"
