ᶜʰᵃᵖᵗᵉʳ ᵉⁱᵍʰᵗ. "ʳᵉᶜᵒʳᵈⁱⁿᵍ ʳᵒᵒᵐ"

"how in fucks name do you still have your phone with you?!" gyeong-su asked with wide eyes, irises wide at the phone and speaker on her hand.

sae-bom looked at him, "didn't hand it in, and i have a powerbank."

he then watched as she handed him the bag, then placing her mask back on her mouth. "why do you even need a mask on you? it's not like you're going to get covid from these zombies. in fact we shouldn't even be worrying about covid for fuck's sake."

"yeah but what if their blood enters my mouth? i don't even care whether i become a zombie or not, i'm killing myself. that shit's nasty." the girl pulled a disgusted face, causing an eyeroll from the boy. "and make sure my bag doesn't fall off. i have important shit in there.

he raised a brow. from what he remembered, all she had were her powerbank, charger, lighter, cigarettes, speaker, and an air freshener can. "you're too dramatic, sae." he told her, sae-bom shrugging in response.

"whatever keeps me alive." she replied. "remember the plan?"

right. it was morning now, and the two students knew they had to leave the room, or else they could possibly die in there. and y/n wasn't one to sit still.

their plan was to get everyone else in the other end of the hall, then escape with them through however they needed to. most likely through the rooftop, as they noticed a couple helicopters circling their area.

the first year sighed, nodding his head. "it's just to the other side of the hall. i ran from here to there last night, shouldn't be a big deal."

the girl smiled lazily. "correct. shouldn't be a big deal."

"ʳᵉˣᵒʳˢⁱⁿᵍ ʳᵒᵒᵐ"

they jinxed themselves. as soon as sae-bom peaked her head out the door, zombies immediately caught the attention of the door opening, running towards her.

as the girl shut the door, her back against it, she held the door in place as zombies banged themselves against the door. gyeong-su looked at her panickedly, before remembering something. "your speaker!"

her eyes widened. "no! that cost a fuck ton of money! i'm not wasting that!"

gyeong-su scoffed, taking the bag off his shoulder and grabbing her speaker and phone out. he turned the speaker on, connecting the phone to it. "it's either we waste ourselves or this speaker!"

letting out a strangled noise, as well as one of frustration from using her strength on the door, she obliged. "fine!"

nodding, he ran towards the other door, slipping it open. he then rolled the speaker all the way at the end of the hallway, before pressing play on the song, the sound blasting around somewhere at the high settings, but not the highest. the song 'ruby' by woozi began playing loudly, it's orchestral intro soaring into the halls.

sae-bom then felt the door still, signalling that the zombies were now heading towards the speaker. she opened the door slightly, watching as the zombies ran past her, towards the end of the hall. about a few seconds into the song, the bass drums already playing, the zombies running past lessened, meaning majority of them had already been at the other end of the hall. hair framing her face, she opened the door widely, her diy spear in hand.

gyeong-su gulped at her actions. she was mad. and a mad sae-bom was not a pretty sight.

she turned her head to him. "get to the door while i hold the zombies down. make it quick!"
