they all crowded around a table, an image description drawn on the whiteboard on it. nam-ra managed to create a map of the stairwell, discussing their plan in order to get to the choir room two levels up. they had a plan formed to play music up on the speakers, directing the zombies towards that as the other took that as an opportunity to run towards the staircase.
though, the others weren't too sure on whether the zombies were attracted to sound or not. "how are you so sure they're attracted to sound?"
"i think she's right." joon-yeong agreed, "they're drawn to sound."
"yeah no, they're drawn to sound." sae-bom nodded her head, leaning back on the chair she was sitting on with her arms crossed over it. "if they managed to hear woozi earlier, then they definitely are attracted to sound."
hyo-ryung perked her head up, "woozi? as in the singer?"
sae-bom nodded her head. "yeah."
her eyes then widened. "how was he in our school? what the- that doesn't make any sense-!!"
ji-min then scoffed, cutting her off. "she was playing his song. i don't know how but he obviously wouldn't be in our school."
embarrassed by her previous statement, the girl shyly lowered her head. "o-oh. right."
sae-bom - who sat beside the girl - placed an amused look on her face, muttering out a small, "cute" in which the girl heard - cowering even more as the tips of her ears coloured red. she then looked back at everyone, standing up abruptly with her usual smile on her face. "okay! i'm guessing that we're going to be playing music through one of the cds here, and while that's playing, we all run, yeah?"
her eyes were soley facing nam-ra, as the girl was the one who concluded their plan. nam-ra nodded at her, physically saying yes. seeing this, sae-bom's smile somehow grew brighter.
"great!" she then walked towards her stick, holding it in her hand. "i'll take care of the back. two of yous can lead the rest to the front, and i'll make sure no zombies reach us."
"hey, no-" su-hyeok protested, "who said you were going to take care of the back all on your own?"
sae-bom looked at him, "i did. you don't have a say in it."
his mouth then fell down, pointing a finger at her. "hey that's unfair! i can't leave you to that on your own! what if you get hurt?"
she then scoffed, walking towards her spear, grabbing the duct tape on the shelf. "so what if i get hurt? as long as any of you don't die, then i'll be fine." she shrugged at him, wrapping the sticky tape over the previous tapings - securing the scissors even tighter.
bewildered at her statement, su-hyeok walked over towards her, grabbing the spear from her hand. "i'm helping you."
mentally cursing him for his tall height, sae-bom locked her narrowed eyes with him, glaring. her grip on the spear tightened, pulling it closer to her. "no. you're not."
but su-hyeok wasn't having it. he pulled the stick towards him, pulling sae-bom in the process, leading to their faces centimetres apart. "yes. i am."
she glared into his eyes, finding any source of backing out in them, but there was none. su-hyeok was easily standing his ground, as he was one to not back down. though sae-bom was exactly like that. i mean, after all, where would he have learnt that but her?
"okay break the sexual tension, you two." gyeong-su rolled his eyes, splitting them apart. he then grabbed the makeshift-spear from sae-bom, holding it in front of him. "how about, you two both go at the back? sounds like an amazing plan, right! oh my god gyeong-su! thank you for thinking of such a brilliant plan! what would we do without you-"
gyeong-su's sarcasm rolled off his tongue as if it was his second language, an obviously fake smile on his face. his statement was cut off by sae-bom pushing his face away, taking the stick from him. "okay we get it. now shut the fuck up. you're annoying."
as gyeong-su pushed sae-bom's hand away, a dramatic gasp left his mouth, a fake-offended look on his face. "how dare you say that! i'll have you know–"
as gyeong-su continued to blabber nonsense to sae-bom, pointing a finger at her as if he was her mother, sae-bom turned back to su-hyeok. "if you stay at the back with me, you promise to not get hurt?"
he raised his brows at her, glancing at the stick leaning towards him. "of course i'm not going to get hurt. what do you take me for? a ten year old?"
as he was about to grab the stick from her, sae-bom pulled it back to her body, a grin forming on her face. "good. i would've beat your ass if you said another answer. my teachings would've gone to waste if you fucking die." she then turned her head back to gyeong-su, who was still yelling her ear off. "now back to you. shut the fuck up, you fucking midget- i swear i will feed you to the zombies if you keep running your mouth at me. the amount of times i've done shit for you and this is how you fucking repay me-"
"you just smacked my face! if anything, you can't say shit. i do what i can as an amazing brother of yours, and you treat me as if i'm dirt. i'm wounded, sae'. what happened to always being family–"
"oh my god, maybe i should've just left you out there-"
"hey! don't start saying that you saving my life is a mistake!"
as gyeong-su followed after the older girl, his mouth still blabbering on about nonsense, where as sae-bom looked like she just wanted to punch the boy, su-hyeok scoffed at the older girl's words, an entertained scoff leaving his mouth. yeah, no. his crush on her was definitely still there.
