ᶜʰᵃᵖᵗᵉʳ ᵗʰᵘᵐⁱʳᵗᵉᵉⁿ. "ᶠᵉᵃʳ"

tw! mentions of suicide!

the drone was now long gone, and they were all sitting in their own spaces, to simply let a particular girl mourn over her losses. to show their respect to the dead.

sae-bom was leaning her elbows on the window sill, as yet another cigarette situate itself in between her fingers, her eyes staring straight into the blank atmosphere before her. her phone was in her other hand, ha-neul's contact displayed on it. her airpods plugged into her ears, music playing through it.

finding out that the girl's remaining family was now dead had only affected her in one way: the desperate need, to know whether her own family was still alive right now. the amount of times she's called ha-neul's phone number, yet no answer. the amount of times she's called her mother's number, yet no reply back.

fear and anxiety resided within her as she had yet to know how her family had been doing. it was the one thing she cared about at the moment - and she was sure that the others really wanted to know how their own parents were doing as well.

but they couldn't, as they didn't know what laid out there in the city, nor do they know how the state of their own family. were they still living?- fear constantly on their minds as if it lived there? or did they not have one- as the infection had reached them, leaving their own mind state as blank as an unanswered test paper.

god forbid that it was the latter.

she's already lost a half of her family, she didn't want to lose another.

a small hum left the girl's mouth  as she exhaled the puff of smoke - reason behind would be the effects of the nicotine kicking in. she glanced back down onto her phone screen, finger hovering the phone icon as she attempted to call ha-neul one more time.

just as she was about to press it, she was abruptly pushed aside, almost dropping her phone onto the ground. "you little shit-"

her eyes suddenly widened at ji-min hoping up onto the sill, wanting to jump out. she immediately wrapped her arm around her waist, holding her back down as the other guys held her wrists - preventing her from moving forward.

"let me go! i want to die!" the girl cried, voice mixing in with the other's protests. "leave me alone!"

"get down from there!" on-jo yelled, pulling the girl back into the room.

"i don't wanna live!" she continued, pulling herself against the other's hold.

sae-bom held the girl whilst her phone in her hand, as the other was holding itself on the window frame. though, this didn't seem like the best idea, as the girl unintentionally placed it over the broken glass that was still on it.

"fucking hell-" the girl cursed, hand pulling away from the glass as a deep cut resorted itself on her hand, blood slipping past the wound and down her hand.

her eyes then glanced over to the suicidal girl, who was now being held down as she tried to shake their hands off. "let me go- let me go! please let me-"

a bloody slap placed itself on the girl's cheek, her wails and cries stopping as she held her cheek - wide eyed. the others darted her eyes at her as well, glancing at her angered expression, then down to her bleeding hand.

sae-bom watched as the girl softened her crying, yet her eyes were still in its widened state - hand still on her cheek. as she let the girl calm herself down, she took her tie off, holding it as she walked over to grab the alcohol from the shelf.
