Chapter 9 || The Answer Is No

"Man, I'm hungry." Takemichi sighs as he rubs his stomach. Chifuyu who was beside him rolled his eyes, Baji who was by the bed, stayed quiet and continued to pet Peke J.

"I cooked some food for you guys to eat." Y/n entered the room with a tray full of foods. Takemichi's eyes immediately beamed.

"Thanks, Big Sis!" He told before taking the tray.

"Thank you for the food." Chifuyu and the guys smiled softly.

"It's nothing, you guys should take a rest and eat up first." Y/n returned the gesture and left the room.

"Man, you're sister's an angel." Mikey commented once he takes a bite at the food the eldest had made.

"I agree with Mikey!" Pah told and had already started digging in.

"I'm glad she's a little less stressed out." Takemichi muttered before taking a bite. Y/n had been bright lately, unlike in the past where she's always inside her room with dark bags under her eyes and followed with a tired look. But right now, his sister had been all smiles, she even gained weight and got back her energy.

"It's all because of Shinichiro-kun, I heard from Takeomi-san he's been helping out on his lady friend." Draken told. Smiling a bit as he could already tell what Shinichiro had been up to.

"Big bro's a lucky man, he's probably gonna get a wife who can cook tasty food." Mikey told, still proceeding to eat the food Y/n had cooked them.

"Thanks for helping out again, Shin-kun." Y/n smiled and bowed to express her thanks.

"It's no problem, besides, I don't have anything to do." Shinichiro chuckled.

"Here." Y/n handed out a bottle of water and a towel to wipe his sweat off. Shinichiro gladly accepted and thanked her.

"Hanagaki-chan!" Kimura appears out of nowhere and immediately wraps his arms around Y/n, his eyes full of tears as he hugged her tightly. "I missed you!" He added.

"When did you arrive?" Y/n laughed as she hugged back. Shinichiro blinked in his place, still processing the sudden scene.

"Just about an hour ago." Kimura separates from the hug and then turns to Shinichiro.

"It's nice to see you, Shinichiro-san." Kimura smiled, Shinichiro had nothing else to do but smile back.

"It's nice to see you too, Kimura-san." Shinichiro replied, returning the smile.

"Less talking more working! Kimura! since you're already here, help out Shin-kun by picking up the boxes!" Y/n told, clapping her hands as she turned to Kimura.

"But I just got here!" Kimura whined, clearly not wanting to do any work, especially since he had just got off a tiring trip.

"Exactly, now go!" Y/n picks up a box and hands it out to Kimura. Knowing Y/n, Kimura had just cried and followed her orders.

"I'm sorry again for making you work." Y/n smiled awkwardly as she sweat dropped.

"It's okay, it helps me get into shape anyways." Shinichiro gave an eye-closed smile and thumbs up.
