Happy birthday

I woke up in my bed the next morning not really sure how I got there.

{I really had to stop falling asleep anywhere}

I remember cuddling with Damien around the fire and and yeah that's it I couldn't remember anything. I looked under my blankets and I was still in my bikini.

{whew ok nothing happened.}

I got up and went for a shower. I walked out into the hall and ran straight into Damien.

"Happy birthday ads" he placed his hand on my chin and planted a small kiss on my lips. I started looking around.
"Downstairs we're safe."

I smiled at him

"Thanks dame"
"I carried you in you fell asleep if you were wondering how you got to bed."

I rolled my eyes and bit my lip trying to surpress my smile. After I finished with my shower and getting ready for the day I went downstairs and made a cup of coffee.

"Morning and happy birthday honey"

I looked up from my coffee mug to see my mom holding a card and a small box. I smiled at her

"thanks mom"

"Happy birthday kiddo" Todd smiled at me
"Thanks Todd hopefully it's a better one then last year.

"What happened last year" I looked over at damien
"Oh just a bad one is all"

"Well hurry and finish your coffee so we can do presents honey"

My mom was always happier on my birthdays then I was. I finished my coffee and my mom smiled.

"here card first and this is from both Todd and I"

I smiled and shook my head opening the card up.

"800$ not bad"

I read the card and smiled.

"thanks mom and Todd."

I opened the box and my face went blank.

"Are u serious?"
"100% serious honey"

Todd smiled at me.
"OH MY GOD YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!"

"What is it ads"
I looked at Damien with a pure wide smile plastered on my face and held up the keys.

"A new car no way "
"Did you know dame"
"Of course I knew I helped picked it out. Dad filled the tank up yesterday for you and they already got it in my name since your a minor and put you on their insurance."

I couldn't contain my happiness I ran over hugging both my mom and Todd.

"We'll go see it damien can go with you for a test drive since he knows these roads and you guys won't get lost."

"Come on ads I know your excited"

I was almost running and jumping up and down. I couldn't control my happiness. Damien and me went outside to my brand new 2020 Honda Accord red interior and black exterior. Me and Damien got in the car buckled up and I rolled down our windows and he connected the phone to Bluetooth and started the music. I pulled out onto the road and drove away.

"We'll do you like it?"
"I love it a car definitely wasn't what I expected to get for my birthday."

Damien smiled at me and put his hand on my knee as I drove and smiled so wide my face actually hurt.

"I'm glad you like it ads"

I pulled into a pull off on the road and parked the car. I got out and walked to the water edge and stood there looking at the sun shine off the water. Damien walked up behind me and wrapped his arms around me from behind. I sunk back into him and we stood in silence for what seemed like a while.
