Kuro walked into his dorm quietly it was much later than he had planned, he was supposed to be back two hours ago it was already well past midnight. He wasn't sure if Isa was there waiting or if she was in her own dorm. "Welcome home Kuro." she was sitting at the table, she must have fallen asleep there waiting for him because the table was set for two. She had made him dinner like always, he should have let her know he was going to be later but those old cronies were difficult.
"I'm home Isa." he smiled as she warped to him hugging him, he had gotten used to this, her always being there to greet him, it was going to be so lonely again without her when he had to leave in a few days. "I'm sorry I'm so late." he kissed the top of her head.
"It's ok, you must be tired. How did it go? Thank you for your hard work." she stepped away pulling him towards the table sitting him down as she went to the slow cooker to make him a plate of food.
"They passed the treaty but damn did they want to argue their points. If they were just going to give in I wish they would have done it sooner than thinking they could just convince me otherwise." she set the plate in front of him and sat across from him. "They argued for hours over progressive and old ways colliding but there was no arguing that we could use the solar energy and the land for productions of weapons and technical development." he started eating, it was so good she had made him a pot roast with potatoes and carrots that had cooked in the slow cooker all day in an au jus, goodness he loved her as he tore his plate apart, he hadn't realized he forgot to eat all day.
She watched him eat, she didn't want to talk too much about work, he had worked hard for her and Noctis, of course it was beneficial for the countries as well but convincing those old men of that was difficult he didn't have to but wanted to. She appreciated him more than he would ever know, she smiled as he finished his plate. "Do you want another one? I made plenty."
"I can get it." he went to stand up and she anchored him down with her chains, he laughed. "Kinky Isa, do I get dessert now." she laughed with him as she kissed him walking past to make him another plate letting her chains dissipate. She set the plate down in front of him, his arms shot out to pull her onto his lap as she let out a squeak being caught off guard while he nuzzled her neck.
She must have just showered her hair was still damp and smelled like her conditioner, his breath of fresh air was her after being cooped up with old men all day. She wrapped her arms around his waist hugging him as he pushed her hair over her shoulder and kissed her neck. "I missed Isa so much today." she pressed her forehead to his synchronizing their crysts, it was always such an indescribable feeling of comfort and security he had never felt, neither of them had felt before each other. Her eyes were glowing as she looked at him, he could never take his eyes off of hers for some reason, her eyes captured him completely.
"Kuro it is late, you worked hard, please relax and let me take care of you." he hadn't realized she was healing him, she wasn't physically healing him she was healing his soul. The difference of being with her for fifteen minutes was amazing, he felt so much calmer and happier, the irritation from earlier was completely gone. She held the fork to his mouth smiling brightly as he took the bite laughing a little "now eat your food and shower. I'll wait and we can go to bed together so don't hurry." she got up off of his lap kissing his cheek so he could eat as she started to pack up the rest for lunch tomorrow.
He finished and went to shower, he heard her start a bath for him so he could soak and smiled as he washed his hair. Even with servants his whole life he had never felt so cared for as he did by her, she catered to him in every way without him ever asking or expecting it. He got out and sank into the bath, she knocked lightly and peeked in.
"I was going to put some oils in that are supposed to help ease tension." she stepped in blushing and looking everywhere but at him.
"Thank you Isa, you have already made the tension go away." he laid his head back against the bath pillow watching her as she walked towards him and pulled a small stool up next to the bath. She rubbed his temples lightly and he closed his eyes relaxing as she ran her hands through his hair massaging his scalp and temples, the back of his neck. He had massages before but being massaged by a healer was something totally different, her every touch loosened his muscles to a point of almost not being able to use it. The oil she put in the water he was familiar with, eucalyptus a relaxing scent.
