Positivity in life is important. It's important to make sure most or all negative things are thrown from your life for many reasons: your health (mental and physical), your happiness, the people around you, the fulfillment of human experience and ultimately,yourself. There are several ways to make sure that positivity is your next door neighbour.
Ways to have positivity in your life:
Friends, relatives, social life: Make sure to work things out with people who hurt you in any way. This means that you should talk to any people who make you feel upset, sad, worn down, etc. Talk to them considerately and tell them your feelings, even if it means opening up to them. Also, be prepared to block them out of your life if the circumstances allow it. You cannot allow anyone to take advantage of you, since this stirs up negative feelings for you.
Order: Living life with a clutter on your shoulders can drag anyone down. Give yourself time everyday to clean things up, which includes your home, your desk, your binders, your phone, your email, etc.
Eat healthier: If you're healthy, you're happier. Make sure to eat regularly, drink a lot of water and establish a nutritional diet (instead of eating unhealthy, processed foods). It helps if you plan out your meals before the day starts and if you encourage yourself. Also, make sure to treat yourself time to time.
Positive body image: Make your current body your ideal one. As long as you're happy, healthy and comfortable (as Carrie Hope Fletcher had said), then there's no reason to change. However, if you are looking to lose/gain weight, then make sure you're doing it for yourself and your health, not anyone else. If you're looking to count calories, look into MyFitnessPal.
Keep a journal/diary: and write everything positive and negative about the day. Learn from the negative, admire and learn even more from the positive.
Help others: Helping others makes everyone involved happy!
Of course it is very hard if not impossible to have a completely positive life. Everyone will experience negativity in their life and sometimes, it's not possible to throw it all away — because it's life when we divorce, when we are bullied or bully, when someone we love is hurt or gone from our life. But it is possible and completely reasonable to find all the positivity in our life and love it.
