━━ THE VIDEO STARTED WITH THE BOT LOOKING AT A MAN WITH AN ODD-LOOKING MONOCLE. The agents recognized him to be Baron von Strucker, one of HYDRA's leaders.
"Es ist vollständig." Strucker had a wicked smile on his face. "Das Set ist komplett!"
Clint, who was fluent in German, had to translate. No one knew why the man was so good, considering that he never had the time/reason to learn it. Nevertheless, it was helpful now. "He said that the set is complete."
"Jetzt schicken wir sie raus. Du! Bereiten Sie die anderen vor. Sie müssen morgen um diese Zeit im Triskelion sein!" The monocle man in the video barked out orders, turning to his scientists. They scrambled about, complying as best as they could.
"Now, we send them out. You! Go prepare the other ones. They need to be at the Triskelion this time tomorrow!"
"Wait, so it was two in the morning for them. What about time zones?" Natasha asked aloud, biting the end of a pen. She found that doing this helped stimulate her brain.
Was it sanitary? No.
Was it the placebo effect in effect again? Probably.
Did it work? Yes.
Her question was answered when just a few moments later, a large skylight in the ceiling of the factory opened, revealing the night sky. The bottom of the Fury bot's boots lit up, flames spewing from them. And just like magic, the bots were flying into the night.
The video shut off, leaving a black screen on the hologram. Before anyone could comment, the video started again. This time, they were soaring over the Atlantic. Tony assumed that they weren't made to take on long flights, because they didn't try to dodge the birds that were hurdling into them.
The birds knocked them off course, which caused the bots to fall into the dark ocean with a large splash. The video glitched repeatedly before shutting off, and this time, it didn't turn back on.
"These things can fly?" Xiomara's jaw dropped.
"Not over water, obviously." Maria snickered. "So, if we backtrack far enough, we can figure out where Fury's being held. Stark?"
"In the middle of that now. JARVIS is usually good at figuring out locations based on little information, but..." Tony turned his laptop around to show a blank screen. "Nothin'. They must've assumed that we were gonna do this."
"What about S.W.O.R.D?" The brunette archer remembered the distressed call from Monica Rambeau. "They could be holding hundreds of agents around the world."
"Then this just became really real, really fast." Xiomara sighed. "So, not only do we need to get the S.W.O.R.D agents over here without making too much noise..."
