The Next Day
Smiling I couldn't help but laugh as Raven played peek a boo with Jace. His reactions were so priceless that I sat on the ground recording their little game with the plan to send it to Andy later. I could see the perfect family they would be when Andy came home to complete this moment.
I could also see Andy passing on his love for Batman to the kid super easily. It was also easy because when Raven let him pick between two shirts this morning, he picked his batman tee shirt.
"Where did mommy go Jace?" I asked. He immediately started crawling towards Raven when she removed her hands.
"Here I am," She called out. The smile on Raven's face made having to leave the tour much more worth it. Raven was meant to be a mother and now she was. When Jace heard the word mommy, he would either start looking for or reach for Raven. And each time that he did that made Raven love him even more.
"Hey Raven," I called out.
"Yeah,"
"How do you think Andy's going to handle being called, daddy?" Raven's eyes widen but she smiled.
"First he's going to be shocked," She said, pointing at my phone giving it a look. Standing up she picked up Jace.
"Mhm,"
"But then he'll get over the shock and will keep asking Jace to say it over and over again." Laughing I nodded my head, standing to join her on the couch.
"Jace," I cooed, "Can you say hi to daddy?" He looked to Raven who pointed to my phone, whispering in his little ear.
"Say hi daddy,"
Leaning forward I giggled as Jace's face filled the camera screen as he tapped the lens. Still tapping the camera he turned his head towards Raven and said something that resembled, "Ada?"
"Oh my god, did he just say..." Raven started.
"I think so. Come on Jace, where's dada?" I asked. At this point I didn't care that he kept on tapping my camera lens, we were on the verge of a break through here. We were about to break the baby alien language with some real language that we could understand.
"Ada." Jace turned back to the camera, tilting his head.
He tapped one more time and smiled. "Dada!"
Smiling I looked over at Raven who was smiling at Jace, her eyes glistening with tears. "Yes Jace yes, that's dada. Oh Andy, he knows you're dada." Raven cried out.
"Mama," Jace poked the spot between Raven's eyebrows. Covering my mouth I watched as he kept on repeating it, calling Raven mama.
"Yes, yes Jace, I'm mama. Who's this honey? Do you know who this is?" Grabbing the picture frame that sat behind her she pointed to Andy. Jace looked at him but didn't say anything for a minute. It was a slightly older picture of Andy and Raven, Andy's hair was black and little bit longer than it was now.
Jace smiled, "Dada."
"I'm sending this to Andy now Raven, okay." I whispered. Raven nodded her head as the tears dripped down her cheeks. The smile on her face kept on getting bigger and bigger. Saving the recording I sent it to Andy hoping that this made him the happiest man on earth at the moment.
Still smiling from the giant breakthrough, I didn't think much of it when my phone beeped. Immediately I thought it was Andy who messaged me thanking me for the video. So when CC's name popped up, I had saved him in my contacts as Crazy Pug Lover, I was surprised.

Hey Lily, um, I thought you should see this. I'm so, so, so sorry. We didn't think this would happen. If we knew we would have never gone out last night.
Confused I called out to Raven. "Hey, I got the weirdest message from CC,"
Raven laughed. "Aren't they always weird?"
"Yeah but, this one's different." Moving over I showed her the text.
"Click on the picture, see what the big deal is." Nodding my head I positioned my thumb over the "get," button, but hesitated. What could have happened that had CC sending something like that? Taking a deep breath in, I clicked the button.
"Oh my god, no," Raven whispered.
Biting my lip I stared at the picture, the image blurring the longer I stared. I should have known something like this would have happened. He was a rock star and I was just some girl. Sucking in a breath of air I set down the phone and walked to my room.
I didn't want to see Ashley kissing some other girl any longer.
I didn't want to see him ever again.
Hey y'all, who hates me for doing this? Yup i did it, I played that card. I know, I'm a horrible person and there are probably lots of other colorful things you would like to call me. But I've had this part planned for a long time. Just like I have other things planned, this was planned too. Sorry guys but it had to be done.
So yeah, don't worry there are going to be some pretty interesting things coming up soon. When I publish them, no idea. So don't forget to comment below, if you want to rip out my heart and dissect it to see if i even have any feelings comment it below. And don't forget to vote and subscribe!
