Chapter Eighteen This Pure Bliss, Is My Heaven

Lying in my bunk I tightened my grip on Lily lightly as she turned in her sleep. Since our talk a couple nights ago, we've decided that it was no longer possible for the two of us to be separated at night. Which was perfectly fine with me, I got to wake up next to her every morning so I was happy.

Fitting against my body I let out a soft chuckle as she put her head against my chest and wrapped our legs together. Pushing back her blond hair from her face I marveled at her beauty. Even when she was wearing a shirt that was twice the size of her and my old basketball shorts, she was still an angel.

She didn't resemble the starving girl I had met in the very beginning, now she was at a healthy weight and she glowed. She was as rough as jagged glass on the outside but on the inside she was as soft as a marshmallow. But that made me love her even more.

"Ash" Lily murmured her voice was still thick with sleep.

"Yeah," Blinking she rubbed her eyes before smiling at me.

"Were you watching me sleep?" Her blue eyes were amused as a smirk lifted her lips.

"Well when you have an angel sleeping next to you, and you're not sure when she has to leave to go back to heaven, a man might just watch." I said, caressing her cheek. Her eyes grew wide and her mouth opened to a perfect circle. She licked her lips and opened them several times only to close them. Lily had no idea how to respond to that.

Sitting up Lily covered her mouth and instantly I felt bad, but what was so bad about what I said? Touching her elbow she looked down at me and smiled.

"You smooth little fucker," Lily giggled out. Surprised, I felt my eyebrows rise to my hairline. Leaning down so she was basically lying on top of me she kissed me. Closing my eyes I acted on my instincts and put my hand on the back of her neck and kissed her back. Staying like that for a few minutes felt amazing. It felt like a million fireworks were softly exploding, the next one warmer and better than the last. We weren't rushing or trying to force anything, we were just showing how much we cared to each other.

Pulling away from me I pouted until she laughed and kissed me once more before sitting up while still on me. Lily rubbed her eyes once more and smiled as my hands rested on her hips. Her shoulders were hunched over because we were still in my bunk and her hair spilling over her shoulders. She looked completely and utterly beautiful. The way her eyes lit up completely now made me feel whole. I finally understood how Andy felt when he was able to make Raven feel whole again and happy.

Shivering involuntarily I glanced down to see Lily absently drawing on my chest with her fingers and nails. Each touch made me feel as if I was checking in to spend the rest of my life on cloud nine. Closing my eyes l leaned my head back against the pillow. I never wanted her stop, I never want this to stop, I never want this feeling to ever leave me.

"We should get up, everyone must be wondering what's taking us forever," Lily whispered. Looking at her I cocked my head to the side. Sitting up but keeping Lily still straddling me I leaned my forehead against hers. Keeping my hands against the bed to keep my balance I gently kissed her neck.

Moving up I left a trail going to her ear and whispered, "Let them wonder then," before claiming her mouth. Her hands fell to my abdomen and I shivered at her touch only to moan when she twisted our tongues together. How did she know how to do that?

Her hands moved back up my bare chest only to go back down, but now lightly skimming my skin with her nails. Taking one of my hands of the bed I ran it up her leg only stopping to rub her thigh before continuing on up to her stomach. Not able to handle it I lay back down and slipped my other hand under her shirt to support her back and bring her closer to me as her hair slipped over one of her shoulders. Pressing slightly on her back Lily immediately pulled back away from me and put her hand on the spot that I pressed.

"What's wrong?" I asked, trying to get my breath under control.

"My....back," She winced and I felt bad. "In the accident, a spot on my back got hit and once in a while if it's pressed on it starts to hurt a bit." She explained.

"What can I do to help?" I sat back up as she shook her head but leaned against my upper body. Gently I wrapped my arms around her hips and kissed her forehead.

"This," I heard her whisper, "just do this." Smiling I carefully ran my thumb back and forth across her lower back and very slowly rocked her back and forth. After a couple minutes Lily leaned back and slowly started moving again.

"You okay now?" She nodded her head and gave me a smile and kissed my cheek. Slipping off my lap she turned so that her legs were dangling over the edge of the bunk. Taking the hint I opened the curtain and jumped out, helping Lily out. We were in the top bunk on the left side of the bus, if you were walking towards the bunk room, and our bunk was right across from Andy's and Raven's bunk. It was funny how we had to help the girls get out of them if we were around.

Taking her hand I led her to the living area were everyone was. Lifting her head Raven smirked at us.

"Lily, I made you breakfast, it's on the counter," Raven said. Lily smiled and didn't hesitate to drop my hand for her food.

"Traitor," I called out.

"Oh be the big boy you are and suck it!" Everyone laughed at her come back as I settled on the couch.

"I knew it; I knew you liked her Purdy." Raven said, dancing in Andy's lap. Andy smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist as he moved her. I laughed again as her eyes slightly widened and she stopped moving. Lily came back in the room with her plate and sat down on the couch, placing her feet in my lap. Raising my eyebrows I watched her sigh as she gave me a piece of her bacon, something she would have never done a week or two ago.

"So, what are we doing tomorrow since we have the day off." CC questioned. Everyone shrugged their shoulders, not sure. We're still in the middle of our Wretched and Divine tour and just figured out when we were going to make up the dates we missed for when we got Raven's stuff sent to Andy's place, along with her car. So our days off were very few.

"Jake and I are going out for a bit since we're back in California for two days," Jinxx announced.

"I'm going to stay here, maybe go out and visit the fans," CC added. We all nodded our heads, so that just left Andy and Raven, and me and Lily. Biting my lip I glanced at Lily and smiled.

"How about we go out on a double date tomorrow, me and Lily, and Andy and Raven?" Lifting their heads everyone looked at me shocked. They most likely never thought they would hear the words, double date, and my name in a sentence together.

Raven looked up at Andy and smiled, knowing it would convince him to say yes. I turned to Lily who was already staring at me, and started to smile. Taking her hand in mine I rose to my lips and kissed her knuckles. She nodded her head, still smiling.

"Why not, what do you planned?" Andy asked.

I smiled, knowing well that Raven and Lily would enjoy it, "Disney Land."
