Chapter Twenty Six Forever And Always

(Lily)

            Sitting on the floor with our backs against the couch I laid my head against Ashley’s shoulder. It was silent as he took everything in, everything that I had said just minutes before. Feeling him lift my hand I watched as he placed a kiss to my knuckles.

             “Are you sure,” He whispered.

           “Yeah, besides, Raven’s going to need all the help and I’m the only one that can help her.” I whispered back. Hearing him sigh I closed my eyes, hoping that he can understand my decision.

             “Did I, did I do something to make you want to leave?” He asked. Sitting up I placed my hand on his chin making him look at me. His brown eyes weren’t happy; he was blaming himself for something when it was nothing that he did.

            “No,” I said making my voice steady. “Ashley, you have been nothing but perfect, but Raven needs me. She’s eighteen and going to be taking care of a child that isn’t even in kindergarten yet. She’ll be all alone in LA where she spent a week at the most when she moved her things to Andy’s apartment. Okay?” Gazing into my eyes I willed him to understand.

           “Besides, I need some girl time.” I joked. He gave a weak smile but it faded almost instantly. Wrapping his arms around my waist he pulled me into his lap. Instantly curling up into him put a smile back onto his face.

             “When do you have to go?” He breathed out.

           Nuzzling his neck with head I told him, “Two days.” He nodded his head and slowly started to rock the two of us back and forth. Holding on to him I breathed in deeply, inhaling the scent of pine trees mixed with bubblegum and the slightest hint of whiskey. It sounds horrible, but somehow it mixed together perfectly. Feeling him lower his head into the crook of my neck I placed a kiss on his neck hoping that it made him feel slightly better. His hand gripped mine and I squeezed back.

            “I love you Lily,” Ashley whispered. Feeling him place a kiss on my neck I pulled back.

             “I love you too babe,” I whispered back. He placed his hand on the back of my neck and gently pulled me forward until our lips were connected. Placing a hand on his chest I tried to prove how much I loved him into each kiss and was rewarded with his love. Feeling his tongue swipe my bottom lip I complied to him as we slowly became one. It was slow but passionate; it didn’t need to be rushed. It didn’t need to be rushed anymore for him, because even though I was back to LA with Raven, I was always going to be his and he was always going to be mine.

           After a while he pulled away and picked me up as he got to his feet. Shocked I wrapped my arms around his neck as he tightened his grip. Walking to the bunks Ash placed me in first before crawling in next. After getting under the blankets Ash pulled me against him, there wasn’t any empty space between us and I understood what he was doing. We had two days left together before I left with Raven, he was going to make the most of it  and he knew how much I love being able to cuddle up with him at night.

            The tears stung my eyes but I willed them back as I kissed him hard. He responded back and if possible hard enough to make my toes curl in pleasure. Breaking apart our breathing was uneven and hard. Lowering my head to his chest I grabbed his hand and intertwined our fingers before falling asleep.

Hey guys this is sorta a filler for what I have planned next so I'm sorry if this chapter sucked. I have vaction for the rest of this week so hopefully I'll be able to at least start writing the next chapter for you. I loved reading your comments especially the ones that thought Lily was expecting.

*whispers* "They haven't done it yet, that chapter isn't up yet." :D

I'm suprised that I've held sex from Ashley as long as i have.

Don't worry it will happen eventually but not in the next couple chapters. The next chapters will have you on your toes for sure.

At first I wasn't really into it but then I was like, oh my god this is amazing. I read it in a day in a half, i literally got up at six in the morning to finish, it's truly amazing. And read her author's notes, she writes them in the coolest why possible.
