"Hey! Wait up!" Percy sat up and took a deep breath, waiting for the pain in his abdomen that surprisingly never came.

"You really think I'm going to leave you? Come on, we're going to get pizza. They better not have eaten my pepperoni," Bucky said, turning back to Percy.

"Oh, you're not getting pepperoni. Tyson and Grover eat that like their life depends on it," Percy said with a laugh.

"Do you need me to carry you?" Bucky asked, only half-joking.

"I don't need you to, but it's kind of a long way to the mess hall and I don't want to walk that far," Percy said, trying to get everything that he could out of his injury.

Percy was perfectly fine, but he secretly wanted to see how strong his brother was.

"Fine. Here," Bucky said, holding his metal arm out.

"What do you want me to do?"

"I'm going to carry you. I thought that's what you wanted," Bucky replied. He knew what Percy meant, he just wanted to play dumb a little because it was fun to mess with Percy.

"I know that, Bucky. But how?" Percy emphasized Bucky's name in a sarcastic way.

"Jeez, Persassy. If you sit on my bicep then I'll just carry you," Bucky replied, returning Percy's tone.

"Yeah, right. You'll probably fall over and then I'll have to pay for a hip replacement," Percy shot back.

"Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine?"

Percy scoffed. "No, those are the Iris kids."

"You're the one that's ridden in Apollo's chariot," Bucky shot back. "Therefore making you a literal ray of sunshine." Bucky made two finger guns with his hands aimed at Percy sitting on the bed, and Bucky made a sound effect as he pretended to fire them. He put the tips of his fingers to his face and pretended to blow the smoke off of a gun.

"Yeah, whatever. If you tell me that you've fallen and you can't get up after you try to carry me then I'm going to leave you on the floor. I won't even grab your LifeAlert."

"I'm not that old, Percy. I'm still in the shape of a thirty year old man," Bucky replied. "I've only been out of ice for thirty years of my life. Probably closer to twenty-nine."

Percy shrugged. "I can't lie, you're the first demigod that I've ever met that has better abs than me."

Bucky looked down and realized that he still hadn't found a shirt after he had given his own to Percy. He put his hands over his stomach and gave Percy an "are you kidding me?" look.

"Why are you looking?"

"It's kind of hard not to. I mean, you're not wearing a shirt and it's kind of the first thing you see."
