" Bucky? why Bucky?" The team asked they didn't know just Steve because he was Bucky best friend and still is
Flashbacks

They were on the couch , the team left to mission , she was laying down with the back of her head on his chest and the rest of her body between his legs , they were watching a movie .

" Danny?" Bucky says
" hum..."
" promise that you won't leave me "
She was confused
" why would I do that? Like ... where did that conversation come from?" She asked
" I don't know " He shortly says
" but promise me " he says
She sighs , because it's something that probably she won't be able to fulfill
" I promise , but if it happens to leave you , I will always come back " she says
He smiled and kissed her forehead.
She rolled her body so that he could face him , now sitting down on his lap
They were looking at each other in comfortable silence
" are you overthinking again buck ?"
He looked down
" yeah you do " she said , then she lifted his chin with her finger and kissing him
" you know that I love you so so so so much right ? "
He smiled " I love you too so so so so much " he said quoting me
She smiled , and kissed him , then turning her head to watch the movie
" doll " he calls me again
" yes "she turns her head to him again
" nothing I just wanted to look at your beautiful face , your beautiful eyes again "
He melted my heart
I sighed smiling
" buck ...." she said kissing him passionately.
The end of the flashback

" oh you guys didn't know , they dated" Steve said
" datED you said it very well datED , past" Bucky finally said
When he said her world collapsed even more , she had tears threatening to fall , she looked at the window then at the floor .

She swallowed the cry
" it wasn't my fault " she said trying not to speak too much afraid her voice would betray her

" yeah? It wasn't? Then who's fault ? My aunt's ? " tony sarcastically said
" I was being brainwashed, and you Bucky should know this better than anybody!" She said tired of this bullshit
" and why didn't you told us we would protect you " Steve asked
" I couldn't they would discover and kill me , I had a listening device that they used to spy what I say and what you say " she explains

" why ? You didn't think about us? When you backstab me  ?!" Bucky asked

" well guys I think we should leave them alone to talk " Natasha said

They agreed and left the room leaving Bucky in one side of the table and Danyelle in the other
" it was all fake ? All just for information?"
She remains silent
" so ...?" He insists
"No it wasn't fake , I swear "
" And about my first question?"
" of course I did think of us "
" really ?! " he said sarcastically " it didn't look like , the way you left me behind in a snap of fingers , YOU FUCKING PROMISED "

"DO YOU THINK IT WAS FUCKING EASY TO LEAVE YOU BEHIND ? "
" HUH? DO YOU ? WHEN THEY DISCOVERED THAT THE AVENGERS HAD THEIR SOLDIER THEY WANTED ME TO MANIPULATE YOU , MAKING YOU COME BACK TO THE FUCKING TORTURES, TO THE BASE !" She said
" And what did I instead ? I sacrifice myself for you ! I left you behind to protect you " she said

" I KNOW TAKING CARE OF MYSELF , I KNOW HOW TO PROTECT MYSELF" he said
" you didn't fucking sacrifice for me ! You betrayed me ! Why would you protect me by betraying me ?!"

" I'm going to tell this just one time James" she started " when I come back to the base and they saw that I didn't bring the winter soldier with me , they asked why and I said that I would never let them capture you again , and what they did you ask .... the tortured me , I spent days and days and days without food , the water was so bad and in minimal quantities.
They beat me with a whip " she said lifting her shirt to show the thousand scars on her back , he was terrified by it
" and the electrical chair too , and the brain wiping  chair  , but thanks to some of my powers , I could block the effect of it , I didn't want to forget you ....."
