To be honest,he wanted to minimise his guilt, because he had nights that he wouldn't even close his eyes, just thinking about her, and how a simple attitude can affect a person so deeply.
He had nightmares about it too , showing him, killing her slowly.
She was silent, looking at the ceiling, trying to stop her cry.
" Danyelle c'mon, are you better ?" Buck insists
She finally decided to look at him in the eyes.
"What do you think ? Huh? " she snapped rudely
Bucky was taken aback with her attitude.
" do you think I wanna be here? With all of you ? In this hell? Do you ? I would rather die than stay here in the middle of the hate and stupid comments " she says
" don't say that " Bucky said, he can hate what she did to him, but he couldn't bear with her death , he still loves her too much .
" ' don't say that ' ? ... James I tried to be friendly, and nice with everyone and what did you guys do? Huh? the only one that befriended me was Wanda, the only one that worried about me was Wanda! What kind of team is this ? " she said fuming
" and what the fuck are you doing here?did someone forced you, making you come here? Because if it depended of you , you would run or say no in tour first opportunity ".
" fury did, kinda, he said that if we don't treat you well we were in big trouble basically " he said looking down
She scoffed " yeah, it was what I thought "
" but Danny-" he's cut by her
" don't call me that " she says dryly
" Danyelle, now being dead serious... I'm sorry... I didn't know your background story and everything you've been through and that you suffered, I was being selfish just thinking about the past-" he was cut again
" yeah that's y'all problem, y'all are too stuck in the past " she said rolling her eyes.
He looked down feeling guilty
" I'm really sorry... I wasn't realising, that we were being selfish and evil towards you , we were too stuck in revenge, to us you're as an imposter living with us? But I promise to you that I'm going to change trying to be more friendly "
She raised an eyebrow " you had to study that apology? James do you know how many times I've been tricked ? "
He looked at her " at least I'm trying to apologise"
" really? It was necessary to kill myself or trying, for you to apologise ?are you serious ?" She says .
He just rolled his eyes
