I was so busy. Nagr-review ako as I should bilang isang estupidyante. Nagkasakit ako at hindi nakakuha ng exam last week kaya naman kukuha ako ng special bukas ngayong okay na ako.
Kunot ang noo at naiirita na ako, I was biting my pen when the door of my study room creaked. It was Ryui who entered the room. Dala ang mapanghusgang tingin niya.
“What again?” I scoffed.
He laughed. “Damn, Kae. It’s her birthday and the girl was waiting for you to greet her.”
My brows raised faster than the wind.
“What the hell?!”
Tumawa ulit siya at binuhay ang computer ko para maglaro. I picked up my phone and open my WPA to check if it was true.
“Ayan, hindi ka updated. Bakit kasi naka-ignore ‘yong gc sa ‘yo?” Asar niya niya pa.
“Shh, don't disturb me.”
Binisita ko ang account niya at may nakita akong ilang facebook friends niya na binabati siya kani-kanina lang.
She posted a story, it’s an edit of her picture with a ‘happy birthday’ sticker and a short letter from her friend, Cici. I was thinking if I should greet her with a message, too. But ended up with a plain and simple greeting.
At some point, gusto kong umiwas. Iiwas ang sarili ko. I’m tired of hurting. Baka kapag nahulog na nga ako ay manganib na naman ang puso ko. Yuck, sounds so gay.
