Chapter 23: Glad to be back

We were getting ready to go out as I was watching the view of the ocean a little more. I was so happy of having Matthew back. Oh he was gonna loose that bet for sure. He explained to me the bet a little bit more, we couldn't kiss or  of course f...you get the idea. I wore a short black dress with hills. I got down stairs my hair brushed my hearings on and my hills in one hand. The stairs were huge and in glass, so I mad quite the entrance. I looked at Matthew straight in the eyes, he was in a short with a sky blue shirt which highlighted his eyes. I softly smiled at him as I looked at Hailee who was wearing  a dark blue up to the knee dress as Austin was wearing a short with a white shirt. I arrived downstairs Matthew's eyes still on me, I licked my lips and winked at him. 

Hailee: You look gorgeous hun!

Me: So do you!

I turned around and walked towards him, I placed my hands on the back of his neck and pressed my body against his. I stared into his eyes and licked my lips again. He started drooling a little, I could hear Hailee and Austin laughs. I took my hands off his neck and took a tissue placed on the table. I took the drool off the corner of his mouth. I came back to him and started rubbing his chest. His eyes were looking down at me. I walked away feeling his eyes on my body, I took Hailee's hand before whispering half laughing something into her ear. 

Me: He's not gonna win.

She laughed as we got into the car. Arrived there, the view from the terrace was beautiful, the ocean, the few houses next to the beach...We started eating, as we saw Vanessa arrived to the table. 

Vanessa: You forgot me!

Me: You said you had plans till 1 a.m.

Vanessa: Yeah but I got bored!

Hailee: Yeah well go away.

Vanessa: Why?

Me: Because no one likes you!

I suddenly regretted what I said as Austin shook his head. 

Austin: There now she's gonna...

Vanessa: I am very lovable! Everyone likes me! 

Hailee: I don't. 

Vanessa: Oh shut up fatty.

Austin: What did you just called her?

Vanessa: Well that's what a magazine said.

Hailee: Oh yeah cause I forgot your all personality is from things you read on the internet. 

Vanessa: I don't care about your opinion.

Poor Matthew seemed angry but powerless. His mom thinks of his sister as a princess, so if he says something she gets mad against him and god knows he didn't need to loose another parent. 

Vanessa: And you dare say that Maya. You little slut. 

Hailee: Excuse me?!

Me: Don't worry Hailee I got this under control. What where you saying Vanessa?

Vanessa: No one likes you they like Lily better and so do I. So you're not the best person to say that!

Me: Uh, Matthew likes me better that's all that counts. 

A bright smile formed on his face. Vanessa took chair and sat next to me. We continued to eat. Tension was present and not the good kind. They brought us the check and everyone was sitting quietly. 

Austin: I'll get...

Matthew: Please no let me pay. My sister invited herself, let this be my apologize.
