Part 6- Cleansed and Polished
Darkness.
Lucie was laying in bed with the curtains drawn tightly when she lifted her head to check the time on her phone. It read 11:31am. She didn't feel like eating, she didn't feel like making conversation, hell, she knew she most likely wasn't going to even get up today.
She was still in her uniform from the night before and never bothered to take her makeup off, although her tears have been doing a pretty decent job of that, her pillows and pale cheeks stained a miserable black with mascara. She pulled the covers back over her head and shamefully sobbed over her deceased relationship before falling back into a deep depressive slumber once again.

Terzo had decided to catch up on some work throughout the day that had been piling up for little over 3 months now. He'd deny it was due to trying to take his mind off the nerves building up inside about his dinner with Lucie, but out of all days he finally decided to do it, why else would it coincidentally be this random Sunday?
He made sure he left enough time, at least an hour and a half, for him to get ready, he'd already picked out his outfit the night before prior to going to sleep, so all he had to do was shower, change and do his makeup.
Terzo had always been a bit of a disorganised person, but when it came to something he was genuinely interested in, he was completely manic. He'd have the timing of everything planned out in his head to the point. So after his long hot shower, he changed into a white shirt that had more buttons open than closed paired with a suit in the most glamorous shade of purple. He fixed his hair and adjusted his makeup, before picking up the flowers he'd picked from an angry Primo's garden: "Smettila!" He'd shouted when he caught Terzo loose in his garden with a pair of craft scissors, "You'll damage them, stronzo. Here. And don't be making this a regular thing, this is the second time this week you're robbing from my precious nursery!" He dreaded the thought of his garden being left behind when he leaves for his holiday in a few days.
Terzo gave himself one last look in the mirror, took a deep breath (finger gunned himself) and headed towards Lucie's room. He could hear his heart beating in his head as he paced towards the room of his companion for the night. He breathes. Then he knocks.
No answer.
He knocks agains, but still no answer. "Lucie?" He softly whispers towards the door. He begins to panic. 'Did she forget?'
He knocks a bit louder and noticed that the door was unlocked. He walks about a foot into the room. "Lucie? Are you here?"
He was confused at the appearance of her room. Why were the curtains still drawn? "Lucie?" He says one last time before hearing a soft groan from within the room, he walks in further. "Hello?" He clearly startled her when she finally realised what was going on, as she sprung up so high from her bed with a rather loud "fuck" followed by it causing Terzo to laugh.
"Mia fiore, I apologise I didn't mean to scare you...but I, er, what is going on cara? Why are you in the dark?" He pulls the curtains back, causing Lucie to squint and the beam of light piercing through the glass. It spotlighted her, showing her tangled hair, running makeup on her swollen, sunken face and still in the clothes from the previous night. "Lucie?" Terzo questions in a now concerned and saddened tone, in contrast to his excited and giddy self before, "Mia fiore, what happened? What is wrong?" Lucie tries to cover her face and wanted nothing but to run away, but Terzo came and sat by her side, pulling her body weight into his shoulders.
