Part 22- Merry Christmas
"My dear Lucie...are you awake?" Terzo whispers stroking the girls forehead. "I cannot contain my excitement. I must give you my gift come on, wake up!"

"Terzo five more minutes it's barely past six." Lucie croaks whilst snuggling back down into the sheets and closing her eyes, softly breathing deeply. He eagerly fidgets about in the bed watching the clock, wide awake with anticipation. He was probably more excited than half of the children at the ministry.

"It's been five...exactly five minutes. Now it's been five minutes and five seconds. And now ten sec-"

"Ok! Ok! I give in, I'm up." Lucie holds her hands up in defeat, unable to put up with Terzo's childish games for another minute. He just devilishly grins, following closely behind as she makes her way to the kitchen to make coffee. "You're making me excited...can I have a clue?"

"No clues. Well... I suppose one couldn't hurt, si? Your gift is very plain cara mia." He smirked, clearly proud of himself.

"Plain? That's not like you...usually you're the most extravagant in the room."

"Very true tesoro, why blend in when I was born to stand out, eh?"

"What makes this gift an exception then, hey?" Lucie grins holding her mug up to her lips.

"Ah! No more questions fiore, I promised a singular clue only."

"Ok, this can wait. I can't take it anymore let's do presents instead." Lucie says as she throws her mug to the side and follows an eager Terzo into the bedroom where he had been storing his gift.

"Sit there, I'll be but a moment." He cheekily grins as he disappeared into the large, open space wardrobe where he rummaged about searching for the top secret, well hidden gift. He came through the door with a huge box that he had wrapped beautiful. "I just hope you like it...I think that you will." His lips can't help but tug into a large smile at the sight of the girl innocent to the knowledge of what was hiding beneath the packaging.

"Can I open it?" Lucie beams up at him.

"Of course!" He exclaims.

Lucie started tearing off the wrapping paper revealing a large cardboard box up to just below her hip. She opened the box to find a beautiful suitcase coated in her favourite shade of green.

"Terzo, it's lovely...than-" she started.

"Wait, you didn't think that was it did you cara mia?" He laughed with a large smile. "You think I'd leave you with a shitty ending like that? Continue!" He orders as he sat eagerly in his pyjamas opposite the girl.

She unzipped the suitcase to find a backpack that was made of the same material and design. She once again tries to thank him before he interrupts, confirming that it's still not the end and that she should carry on. Inside the backpack was a large reusable water bottle that, surprise surprise, matched the suitcase and the bag.

"And one more thing inside mia fiore."

"Inside of the water bottle?"

"Si, that's right." His smiles grows larger as he watches her discover a roll of thick laminated paper tucked neatly inside. She pulled it out and opened it up revealing a large map of Europe. "Lucifer...I'm taking you travelling for the next year. We're going to travel all over Europe together cara mia."

"Terzo you're joking." Lucie's face was a pleasant mix between being stunned and absolutely ecstatic.

"Not at all. Merry Christmas darling." She dives into him as he pulls her into a hug, planting kisses all over his face. She pulls back and starts examining the map. "So when I said plain I actually meant plane as in airplane, get it, si?" He chuckled as his own joke.
