It wasn't uncommon for Music Room 3 to be completely transformed to match the day's chosen theme. On some days, it would resemble what it was; a music room. On other days, you would have no idea what you were walking into.

Today, the latter holds true. The theme was what Tamaki liked to call "tropical paradise". It was a stark contrast to the weather outside; right now was early spring, so despite the melted snow, the air was still chilly. In here, Yukino could wear her flowery dress without being chilly in the slightest.

When Haruhi walked into the room, her shock at the tropical scenery was extremely evident. She stood frozen and twitching, even as a toucan flew over to land on her head.

"You finally made it, Haruhi." The twins deadpanned. "You're so late."

Still twitching, Haruhi pulled out a small calendar. "I could be wrong, but my calendar says it's still early spring..."

Standing up, Tamaki went off rambling. "Huddling under a kotatsu table fearing the cold is nonsense! And besides, the heating system we have is the best!"

As he posed, Haruhi sighed in annoyance.

"Do you have a problem with the way we run our club, Haruhi?" Kyoya didn't look up from his little black book. "Be careful what you say; you owe us 8 million yen, remember?"

She stifled a whimper.

"Gentlemen don't bundle up in bulky clothing." Still posing dramatically, Tamaki continued on. "It may be early spring out there in the real world, but here at the Host club, we want to surprise our chilly little kittens with a warm, tropical paradise!" He wrapped one arm around Haruhi's shoulders. "Oh yes, we've turned this place into Nirvana; a balmy tropical island of everlasting summer!"

"That's funny, 'cause I feel a massive chill right now."

The Host Club's party was the big subject floating around. Yukino wasn't as interested as all the girls; she'd attended plenty of rich person parties and gatherings in her life, and they never had been much fun. So of course she wouldn't be excited for a pointless party like this one.

Walking over to join Kyoya and Haruhi at the bar, she took her place behind the counter. Haruhi was glancing around at everyone in the room; girls were squealing and swooning left and right.

"The girls seem to be more worked up than usual."

"Showing some skin proves popular with the ladies." Kyoya replied.

She blinked at him. "So, are you the one who came up with this tropical paradise idea?"

"I have no decision-making authority. All the club's policies have been laid out by the club's leader; Tamaki."

Beaming a sparkling smile, Yukino leaned forward on the counter. "One of the earlier ideas was to have all of you dress up as trees and flowers, but Tamaki changed his mind when he found that conveniently placed Bali photo book on his desk."
