"Let's all play the "Which one is Hikaru?" game!"
Unfortunately, with her hair tied up in a ponytail for the day, Yukino could not use it as a curtain behind which she could hide her eye roll.
That stupid game.
Winking, the twins pulled identical hats onto their identical heads. "So, can you tell which one of us is Hikaru?"
"Well, it's hard to say!" Haruna Usami smiled.
"You're identical!" Kozue Kitamikado cheered.
"Many ladies have tried to tell us apart, but so far none have succeeded."
With a textbook in her arms, Haruhi headed for Yukino's table. "That's the dumbest game I've ever heard of."
They frowned at her. "What, have you got a problem with it, Haruhi?"
"Not really." She shrugged. "I just don't understand why the two of you are so popular."
"That's not very nice." They pouted.
Taking their hats off, they moved to stand at her sides. "I'm disappointed."
"Apparently you don't understand the merits of having a pair of twins as members of the Host Club."
Yukino drew out a long sigh from her table full of homework. "Here we go..."
"Listen up." Hikaru began. "Having a couple of good-looking guys with homosexual tendencies earns the club high points. It also helps if the two struggle between their attraction and their friendship."
"And in our case, because we're twins our relationship is taboo, and therefore more intriguing."
"And besides," Hikaru set a hand under Haruna's chin, speaking close to her ear. "Who hasn't fantasized about twins? Having two loves is better than one, don't you think?"
Kaoru did the same, speaking into her other ear. "It's a young woman's romantic fantasy."
"Well, um," Blushing, Haruna blinked. "Yeah, you're right..." Also swooning at their antics, Kozue squealed. "I can't take it!"
Hikaru and Kaoru smirked victoriously.
Loud footsteps became audible from out in the hall; they had Yukino glancing over her shoulder. The door shot open with a deafening "wham!" and in sprinted Tamaki. He had a scowl on his face and a laptop under his arm.
"Hikaru, Kaoru!" The twins blinked at his furiously trembling figure. "When I gave you control of the club's website, I did so on one condition; that you take it seriously."
Closing his eyes, Hikaru shrugged casually. "We take our job very seriously, boss."
Kaoru waved his fingers. "In fact, last night we worked on it till dawn."
