Raising Sailor

The incident

The night before Halloween.

"Levi, take Sailor back to the car!" Said Hayden taking me out of his arms.
We had gone to some pub in the city. We had went as Halloween was tomorrow and I always go trick or treating on Halloween night so everyone goes to the pub the night before so I can go trick or treating the next day.

I was exhausted and couldn't sleep in the noisy pub.
Levi also wanted to leave .

Hayden put me on the ground.
I could barely keep my eyes open.
I stretched my arms out to Levi who was on his phone.

"What?"
"Pick me up!" I said sleepily .
"No! Just follow behind me!"

I rolled my eyes and trailed behind him while clutching onto his t-shirt and being dragged through crowds of drunk people.

We finally got outside.
The sudden cold air made me shiver.
The car was a five minute walk from where we were.
It was dark out and the only source of light was the few orange street lights that lit up Levi who was walking in front of me.

"Levi I'm tired!" I cried trudging behind him.
"Same" he replied vaguely.
I doubt he even properly heard me.

"Please carry me!"
"We are nearly at the car!"

I sighed in exhaustion.
"Levi?"
"What!"
"Will you read me the Princess and the Wizard when we get home?" I asked rubbing my eyes.
"Yeah"

Then a black jeep pulled up beside us.
I didn't think much of it and Levi didn't react either.
It looked fancy.
Maybe it was a famous person?

We continued to walk along the long cold empty street.
"Levi wait for me!" I said trying to catch up with him.
But it didn't work.
"I'm not stopping just keep walking!"

Then I heard whispering behind me.
I glanced back and seen a few tall black figures.
I started to get slightly scared and didn't realise how far ahead Levi now was.

"Levi!" I whispered.
I could hear footsteps behind me.
I started to cry.
I was terrified.
"Levi! Please wait, I'm scared!" I said while continuing to run.
I didn't shout it.
Just in case the people behind me didn't want to kill me and got offended that assumed they did.

Then I felt someone grab me.
"LEVI!" I screamed before I felt something pinch my arm.
I suddenly felt weak, even more tired than before.

I slowly drifted in and out of reality.
One minute I would see black.
Then Levi running after me.
I was in someone's arms.

Then it all went black.

Levi's POV:

A few moments earlier...

As I scrolled on my phone I could hear Sailor say something.
I couldn't make out exactly what she said but I assumed she was just complaining about being tired.
Now I wished I didn't agree to read for her when we got back.
I knew she would make me stay with her for the whole night!
I could barely sleep in her bed as she would give me no room and was scared of the dark, so she kept a pink night light on all night! Not to mention the door wide open.

But something snapped me out of my thoughts.
"LEVI!" She screamed.
This wasn't tantrum screaming to get my attention.
This was pure fear.

I spun around to see her in someone's arms.
They were tall.
Big.
And scary.

Suddenly they jabbed some needle into her arm and I watched as she slowly closed her eyes.
I could feel the tears in mine.
I chased after them, but they were too fast.
God! I should have just carried her.
Or waited for her to catch up with me.
Then maybe I could have stopped this man.
He had a head start.
He began running with her.

"STOP!" I shouted running as fast as I ever had.

Then I see Sailor the man and a woman get into the black jeep.
The one I seen earlier.

I broke down in tears as the jeep sped away.
I ran back into the pub.
My tears blurring my vision.

I raced back to Ace, Cameron, Austin and Hayden's table.
They were taken back to see me cry.
I never did.
Well at least not in front of them.
They were even more shocked to see Sailor gone.

"SOMEONE TOOK SAILOR!"
