"Not sure what happened..."

Brightness flickered beyond my closed lids.

"...Collapsed..."

I debated opening my eyes but decided against it. As I slowly regained my senses, the voices became clearer:
"If she doesn't wake up soon we'll have to contact her parents." Said a quiet feminine voice which I knew belonged to the school nurse, Laura.

A murmur of agreement came from somewhere near and I reevaluated the situation, deciding I'd rather keep my family out of this.

Not so subtly, I shuffle over, feeling the crinkle of the cheap bedsheets as I open my eyes. To my left sat Ms Dean, and Laura standing in front of the bed I was now laid on.

Ms Dean crosses her legs and Laura smiles and rushes over, "We thought you'd never wake up! You've been out for a good hour." She exclaims, pressing a hand to my forehead.

Ms Dean stirs, "Yes, and you also managed to make me lose my entire lunch break." She says with a scowl, yet didn't seem as bothered as her words would suggest.

"Sorry miss," I apologise to both women, "I don't really know what came over me."

That last part was a lie. I glance over at Ms Dean who was eyeing me carefully and I suck in a breath.

"You collapsed at Ms Deans' feet," Laura begins, "and it seems neither of you are sure why." She stops, staring off into the distance in thought.

"Probably dehydration, I think." I twiddle my fingers and wait for a response.

There was a brief moment of silence, "Well, you should be off now, you seem in much better condition than before," Laura suddenly says and you stand, "if you feel lightheaded or headachey, come back immediately, ok?"

I nod quickly and say thank you, making my way to the door. However before I could reach it, Ms Dean calls me to stop.

"I need to walk you to class, incase you fall again." She says, and walks out through the door in front of me. I blink, before hurrying out after her.

Her walk held such sophistication, I observed. It seemed that with every swing of her hips and strong movement of her legs, power seemed to radiate from her. My eyes flick to her feet- she's wearing heels.

How does she walk so well in heels?

Soon enough we both end up outside a classroom, I don't bother to consider how she knows my exact room, but instead turn to face her with a small smile.

Sucking on a tooth I glance up to face her fully, "Thank you, Ms Dean, for helping before." Her lip twitches.

"It's alright, Morgan. Just try to keep both feet on the ground, ok?"

My cheeks redden as I nod, turning quickly to enter my classroom. I feel her eyes on my back momentarily before shutting the door behind me.

Hours later, I was laying in bed, hair undone as I scrolled lazily on my phone. My final class of the day, English, was definitely the best part of the day. No fainting, no nurses office, no panic attacks; nothing.

I sigh as I recall why I'd fainted.

Why was I having dirty dreams about my teacher?

I'd never so much as laid eyes on her before today, let alone had sex with her... my eyes fluttered shut and I took a deep breath.

It's probably nothing. Just a dream, and dreams aren't real.

Eventually I fell asleep, deciding that it'd best go ignored.
